I still can't get to the 3rd page of the lunch room debate. Ugh.

I can't seem to log on from home anymore. Usually if I have to log back in, it's on both computers, but my work computer is fine. At home, I get a message saying that my account doesn't exist. Weird. So don't expect anything from me on the weekends!

Laurie, I'm sooooo jealous that you got to see Sting and Paul Simon. We really wanted to see them in San Jose last month but it didn't work out. We saw Elvis Costello and The Police together a few years ago and it was an incredibly awesome show, so awesome we drove out to Sacramento & saw them again two days later!

And a big yay for new babies. My nephew & his wife (would that be niece-in-law or what?) are expecting their first, a boy, in May, and I just found out yesterday that two co-workers are expecting. Yay!!!

Maybe talk to Missy about your account and see if she can figure out what is wrong.

Last night my nephew (12) severed his thumb. They were able to sew it back on, but they are not sure if it will take or not. His poor parents were a wreck. Then to top it off while they were at the hospital SIL (The boy's mother) found out that her Dad passed out and had to be taken to the hospital. I just can not imagine the night they had.

Yikes! Sending good wishes to your family, Bonita! And I've decided the issue with my home computer is the universe telling me to spend more quiet time with my husband. I usually get up for a while after he goes to sleep but the last few nights it's been kind of nice just snuggling his sleepy body in the dark.

    !
Elvis Costello is another HUGE favorite of mine so I am jealous of you now! Sounds fantastic. He's playing nearby tomorrow night and I'm trying to win tickets. It's a longshot but I have to try. LOVE him.

Aww, have fun snuggling with your DH! (Although you do make the debates more interesting)

If you ever have a chance to see him in a small venue, do it! He really adapts his shows to the venues. We saw him at the Mondavi Center Theater at UC Davis, just him and twelve guitars on a stage, freaking brilliant. And we saw him in the ballroom of a casino in Reno with only about 1200 or 1500 people, it was a weird setup but so intimate and so rocking, so much more than you get in an arena. Fingers crossed for you on those tickets!

Due to me giving up Facebook, you must all also be subjected to the showing off of my finished knitting items.

I finished this hippo yesterday! Its going to be for my sister in law, not the one that just had the baby, but the one having twins due this summer. I knit this one and my mother in law knit a second one, hers are the reverse colors of this one!

Tonight I'm casting on a tiny cardigan sweater meant for newborns. Again, my mother in law knit one and I'm knitting the other!
