Lisa, is there anyone in HR you could report this to? If he is forwarding your email to someone else then I would assume there is some kind of action that could be taken.
Molly, Morgan, Mia and Carson
Lisa~not cool at all. I so hope you have an HR to go to. That is not something that should be office gossip.
fuschia~good thoughts for your dp.
I already went to HR last week - a couple days prior to confronting him. I spoke to our dept advisor and she's made a record. I'm more than just a gorgeous face and killer bod, you know
DD had her annual check up today. 50.2 lbs, 50.6 inches tall (damn, that's 4' 2" and she's only turning 6). All's well, nice and healthy. Only thing is that she snores and her tonsils are a bit enlarged. Not inflamed, just enlarged. We'll document for a while and see how the whole night breathing thing goes. I think we might have another adenoid removal in our future!
I wanted to sign her up for skating lessons but the only times available are 11 am on Thursday and 11 pm on Saturday night!!!! Like, give me a break. They give all the prime slots to the hockey teams.
k, like I knew there was no way DD was over 50 inches tall. She's 6 for pete's sake. I measured her against the wall, with a measuring tape, when we got home and sure enough she's 47 inches tall. You'd think a doctor's office with those magical scale/height machines they'd be accurate but nope. I could eyeball it better than them. 50 inches from the floor is right at the middle of my boob, and I know darned well the top of her head doesn't reach that high!
Tomorrow I'm going to talk to my boss and tell him I don't want to work for him anymore, and that I want to work 3 days a week in the document control position that's currently open in the legal dept. I'll be responsible for the maintenance of the contract database. I won't report to anyone, it's true paralegal work, and a contract doesn't give a crap if I have to take my kids to the dentist on whatever day. Plus, I'll get to spend 2 days a week with my kids outside of school/preschool. That's all I really want - more time with my kids. I don't want to get older and regret working so much and missing all this stuff.
Does anyone suffer from Restless Leg Syndrome? How do you deal with it? Anything make it better or worse? I've had it since I was a kid. Drives me freaking batty when it comes on. Right now I'm still at the computer at 11 pm when I should be in bed, all because I'm having that insane urge to move my leg to make it feel better. It's a major pain in the a$$.
