Our Easter weekend was fun for the kids and DH and it sucked for me. Pretty sure coughing up thick brown/grey phlegm with blood in it qualifies as sucky. I think it might be bronchitis, not laryngitis as I erroneously stated yesterday. That was my Advil Cold & Sinus drug haze. Oh and soooooo fun.....we have guests coming for dinner tonight and I had all this adventurous thinking about what to make and now I'm commited. I suck. I'm stupid. I want to knock myself out and wake up when I'm over this. Apparently I like the word 'suck' today.
Oh, cool thing I forgot to mention...My parents recently got back from a 6-week trip to New Zealand and Fiji. My dad who turned 70 in January decided to get his very first tattoo - a half sleeve Maori design done by a Maori. I thought that was pretty cool. My dad is pretty rad sometimes.

The doctors office called back this evening and left a message that all my blood work came back clear I am so thankful. The doctor did tell me when I was there last that it was possible that I had an ectopic pg last fall that was still causing problems. By process of elimination, I believe that is what happened. Such a blessing that nothing else is wrong.
Back from our 'vacation' up north. Not sure 5 kids and 5 adults in a house counts as a vacation when it is -20 outside with waist deep snow. The only relaxing thing was that I didnt have to make the turkey
So glad everyone seems to be getting good health news and what a beautiful cake!
My MIL is here until Wednesday so I probably wont be around much, but I have been missing my debate board fix
ETA: I just reread that post, and boy can I tell I traveled for almost 10 hours today. I am exhausted!
Mom to Arianna (5), Conner (3) and Trent (my baby)
We are moved and settling in. the move was an f-ing gong show. I am so tired now! But I have a couple of days off thank goodness. Now if DD will just let me nap.
Rob is still in hospital as they are still debating the diagnosis. Maybe today we might get some real news.
So SIL got engaged this week. DH was the first person she told (They are brother and sister). She has been calling him every night with questions about how to plan a wedding. This makes me giggle. Like he knows how to plan a wedding! I actually heard him offer me to cook all the food for her reception. Like he understands what that means! He texted her back that I could make the cake. Making a wedding cake is a little more up my speed, but still a huge task. I wish she would call me directly. It would be a lot easier than hearing things second hand from DH. (I love him dearly, but you understand)
