Aww, sorry you lost your cutlery. Hopefully you can find it soon. There are times when I think of selling our house and moving out of the city and into the country. Then I think of all that would go into moving.

Last night I booked our flights to Toronto for June. We're landing in TO June 1 then driving up to DH's aunt's house near Huntsville and we've rented the cottage next door to her house, right on the lake. Then we're driving down to Kingston (or the K-dot, as some of us call it) for a week and a half. I can't wait. Ben has never met his cousins and Claire's only really met them once when she was a toddler. It's going to be soooooooooooo great! The cousins, all boys, are 11, 6 and 6. My brother just had an awesome pool installed last year so we'll be doing lots of swimming and poolside socializing. I haven't had 2 weeks in a row off since Aug 2005. That's pathetic.

Toronto is my hometown! Have fun.

I am working from home today, now it's my son's turn for the ear infection. He's doing all right, though, the pain reliever is working and we are giving him Juliet's antibiotics. I started off my day at the ob/gyn so I'm glad that's over for another year. It was a hard visit as they always ask about family history and I had to talk about my mom's illness and death and that just brings it all to the surface again. I guess it's not really that far from it anyway.

And I am still waiting to hear about that job -- last I heard they will be deciding on interviews this week at some point -- and I applied for another great job elsewhere, I am really feeling like it's time to move on. Still working away in the meantime though as there is lots to do at work and some of it is even still sort of fun.

My photography class starts on Friday! That I am excited about. And I made some superdelicious healthy muffins last night.

That sounds awesome. I've been trying to talk my mom and dad and my brother into renting a house in New Hampshire for awhile now but it never pans out. I love relaxing family time.

We just got home from the doctor's office and Corinne ( "my baby") has pneumonia. I thought she was getting an ear infection like Elizabeth has but nope....instead we have this. I have never had pneumonia and I feel awful for her...she's dealing with it like a champ though. The worst part is the amount of Caillou I have had to watch this morning.

I hope she recovers quickly! Ugh, Caillou.....we had to ban it because it made our kids act bratty and whiny. Boo to Caillou!

ugh I want to ban it so bad....they aren't awful acting with it so I don't really have much to go on. I had to ban Home Alone at Christmas because it made Corinne act like a fresh little jerk too. What is up with the ear infections lately? lol.

What kind of muffins did you make Laurie?

When you all talk about those cities in Canada, I always think of the books by Janette Oke in the Canadian West series (The authore of the Loves Comes Softly books).

This morning I worked with Alyssa on division . Too bad Spring break wasn't longer. After that we went grocery shopping. It is a nice day out, so it was nice to get out. All of my tulips are in full bloom. So pretty.

I think all children should just watch Phineas and Ferb. It makes them creative.

I made wonderful Peanut Butter Banana Honey muffins. No sugar except a little on top, no butter, tons of flavor, and they are light and fluffy! Here's a blog entry from when I made them for the first time. Last night's were bigger and fluffier, though!

Banana, Peanut Butter and Honey Muffins jump to...
