Ugh Kyla, I'm sorry. How annoying.
Fuchsia, i hope all goes well today. Glad it sounds like he is in good hands with his Mom.
Kyla, that sucks. Is there anyway you could take your planned trip with the 1 yr old during the summer and he can take the rest of them to this other trip in Sept? Or is it the cost of the two trips that is holding you back from doing both. If not, that might be a good solution. The little guy wouldn't get much out of the ceremony at his age, he wont' even remember it. And then you could have an enjoyable time with your side of the family with maybe even a little less stress than usual.
So my revelation as of late...i found out that i DON"T hate underwire bras! I've only thought I've hated them because i've been wearing the wrong size forever. Lately I've been going to aerie, and they've been ordering me AA's and its been a world of difference! And they actually have many bras you can order in AA. I suppose that makes sense because judging by their site they market to people who are barely old enough to have boobs.
Oh well, I actually have bras that I like now, so I don't care if i'm twice as old as their average customer!
Kim, you're hilarious. I still hate underwire. Alas making things in AA helps me not. DD is more my style.
Hey, after 17 rejections, I have had my very first photo/recipe accepted on foodgawker.com! (After only one photography class, lol.)
It's item # 236362, Cocoa Banana Muffins. Right now it's here: foodgawker | feed your eyes - page 3 but it will move as more items get added.
oops wrong thread

Yay for bras that fit Kim! It makes a world of difference!
Laurie, you totally made me think I posted on the wrong thread! I even edited it, then put it back up COngrats on making food gawker!
Thanks for the support guys. It looks like I am just going to have to suck it up and deal with it. The ceremony is really important to DH and there are 14 other people being named to, so it cant be changed now. In his culture, you do what the elders tell you with no questioning, so they just decided without consulting anyone, which I HATE, but cant really do anything about. It is the cost of the trip that is messing us up, but on the plus side, if I am working all of July, then we should be able to afford to fly down in Sept (it costs about 1500 extra over driving), which will help with the baby issue. I am just really upset to be missing the wedding, and that DH wont say anything to his Dad about it. If his Dad had consulted us earlier he may have been able to get the date changed, but now it is set so......I am left really mad with no workable solution.

Mom to Arianna (5), Conner (3) and Trent (my baby)
Sorry about my misplaced post! I moved it.
Kim, foodgawker is amazing. I LOVE that site. Gorgeous pictures and tons of great recipes. I repost the ones I like to my Pinterest boards anyway, but I love just looking at all the gorgeous food and it gives me great ideas. I can't believe how long it took to get a photo up there.
Kyla, how frustrating! I'm sorry.
Laurie, CONGRATS! That is awesome! I love Foodgawker.
