    I don't mind dates.

I would hate them with pb or coconut though.

The rest of you guys, once you get past the thing about them looking like cockroaches they are quite fanfrikkintastic.
lol! I have never even noticed how they look. My grandmother used to chop them up and try to sneak them into perfectly good chocolate chip cookies though, and yuck! Maybe it was just her baking though. At one point my dad told her if she didnt stop trying to feed us homemade muffins, he would take his family to McDonalds for breakfast

That reminds me of the time my sister-in-law was sneaking cauliflower into mac & cheese for the kids but forgot to puree it. My son, who'll eat almost anything, asked, "What are these hard things in the macaroni & cheese?" and won't ever eat it at my brother's house again.

    Hahaha that's awesome.

Thanks everyone. We've been so lucky to have "normal" sicknesses for all these years and still lucky that with a serious illness she didn't have any complications.

I put cauliflower or butternut squash is my mac and cheese, but I do it to hide it from Dh, not the kids!

Dave (my husband) purees carrots and sneaks them into the spaghetti sauce to hide it from ME and not the kids.

Isn't there a kind of Kraft Dinner actually made with cauliflower? I think I saw an ad for it.

Thankful today that I do not have allergies. Our pollen count is 4190. (Random useless fact I know.)
