Kim~glad he's okay and that your sister and kids stayed home. Does he need a place to stay? Many local people are opening up their homes for marathoners who need a place.

Yes, Robin posted that too. If I lived closer I would open mine up too. Not too easy to drive 1 hour+ south.

My heart swells to see the outpouring of community and love from locals and all of us in the US and international friends as well. I just hate that this had to happen to see this.

I knew we had some runners on here, so I came on as soon as I could to make sure everyone is ok. What a horrible thing to happen!

A bunch of kids from my nephews tennis team were going to go into Boston to watch (his college is right outside of town) by my nephew stayed to do some physical therapy on his knee. It honestly didnt occur to me that he might go to watch. I am ready for him to be home next month so I can keep an eye on him.

We got Rob's test results today. He has a low grade bone cancer. It is bad news but at least they caught it early. He is scheduled for surgery in a week and then we go from there. I don't know where we go as we have only talked to the cancer clinic not his actual doctor.

We are holding it together sort of. We will at least till the kids go to bed.
