So much going on as of late and I haven't really been around much, my kids have been on spring break.

Fuchsia, i just want to say that I'm sorry that your husband is going through this. I hope treatment goes well. Big hugs to you.

With everything else going on in the news, between Boston and Texas...can't wait for things to go back to normal, where there is less intense news and all we have to do is b*tch about politics.

I have lots of friends and family in the Boston area, but I trust they are all doing the right thing and staying safe!

They have closed Umass Dartmouth which is about 20 minutes from me as the suspect #2 was registered student there and believed to be seeking refuge. It's unreal.

I also saw there is a third suspect in Norwalk, CT. They have the car identified and are telling people to stay away if they see it.

It's hard to think of much else, watching this unfold in Boston. So scary for all the people there.

I have to say I think this guy is the true hero in this story. To have both legs blown off and then have the presence of mind as soon as you wake up out of surgery to describe the person who left the bomb is amazing. I think he is a big reason why they were able to figure out who these guys were.

I got a promotion today at work! So happy. I put a worm in my boss' ear a few months ago that i was itching for one and felt I was ready. Got my review today and it seemed he and those above him agreed!
