The half sister left a message with the corner to see if she could find out the results herself. The half sisters are on Jenn's father's side, and the aunts are on Jenn's mother's side (divorced). I have a feeling WW3 is going to ensue over the house and possessions.

That is terrible! Why do people do such things when it is time to pull together and help each other through a rough time?

The word of the day is frustrated! But I have been making calls and sending emails to the doc to let them know there is a problem and we are unhappy and frustrated. Things moved a bit quicker once I started some gentle but firm pushing.

    Here is a wiki listing:
Next of kin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
They are able bodied adults with families of their own. I have no idea how they came to the conclusion that the Aunt was next of kin.

Awhile back I had an ultrasound done on my breast and ovaries. I saw them measure something and was sure it was some kind of cyst or tumor. It was not. It was completely normal. Maybe the same thing will happen with your husband.

I changed it because I just felt like something different, but I don't post my siggy on my posts, usually, which is weird. It's an old pic obviously, because we've got mad girl baby in the pic. That was almost 6 years ago. i know most people go forward with the change in their siggies, but I like to use old pics. reminds me of good times we've had, KWIM? Except for mad baby pics. Man, she was super pi$$ed for that shoot.

I really hope so. I don't think she was supposed to say anything. But what is heard cannot be unheard. alas!

Yeah, I was pretty sure that Claire wasn't a baby anymore. Isn't one of your kids about Weston's age, about 3.5 or 4?

Bonita, it's possible that the coroner or hospital is working off of old information from Jenn from years ago. We had the same thing happen with my step-dad. When he was admitted to UCSF for cancer treatments, he listed me as the first local contact, because this was before everyone had cell phones, and my mom went home to Sacramento to work & take care of my sister. But I was erroneously put down as his next of kin. Years later, when he transferred to UC Davis, that designation followed but none of us knew about it. After he died, the hospital only wanted to deal with me, saying that I was his next of kin, until we showed that he was married to my mom & had never legally declared me as next of kin. Unless Jenn left a will stating otherwise, it seems to me that a half-sibling should definitely have precedence over an aunt.

David Letterman is retiring. Such great memories of watching him over the past thirty-two years!

I believe the half sister is going to call today and try to get it straightened out.
