I forget, how old of a child? Alyssa's eyes have gotten worse with age. Every year she has gotten new glasses, and every year the RX has gotten stronger. I have been told that is normal up until about age 8, and then they settle into where they will be.

Your vision doesn't generally plateau until your early to mid 20s. Her prescription will probably increase until then.

Get this! Claire lost not one, but both front teeth tonight, about a minute apart. Now, THAT'S the way I like it. Just get it over with.

She is 4. In her case the problem is that her eyes are small so there is crowding inside which is affecting her vision. Eyes don't grow much but they do grow a bit so as they get bigger the problem may ease a bit.

So cute. My 6 YO is like the only one of his peers to not lose any teeth yet, nor does he have any loose ones, he keeps asking me when its going to happen but I don't have the heart to tell him he may be 10 with our history

Laurie ~ strassburg is about 40? minutes from us ~ we are closer to Philly. DH played a lot of Rugby out that way, and we've been out to the Railroad, its beautiful country out there. Best of luck today, will be thinking of you around 11.

I'm off to practice hitting mean guys in the face and elbowing them in the throat. Good morning!

Ugh, home again with my kiddo again for sickness. DH stayed yesterday and her fever was 102.3 this morning. Waiting on the 24 hour strep test to see if came back positive. I'm so tired of sickness. I was blessed for years with minor sicknesses for both kids and this year dd2 amped it up.
