Yay, such great news, Fuchsia!
I just don't like socks. I don't like my feet feeling all tied up. And I don't wear shoes that require socks so there's no need to buy any. I dislike shoes and would quite seriously go barefoot most of the time if the world wasn't so icky. I'm barefoot at home all the time, or in slippers.
70% of the U.S. population now lives in a state where same-sex marriage is legal. At 36 and counting!
So funny. I am totally the opposite. I love wearing socks and I pretty much live in sneakers. I hate being barefoot and the only time I am is at yoga, on the beach/swimming, and sometimes in the mornings but usually I wear slippers.
I almost never wear "grown-up lady shoes" that require no socks or tights...if I wear a dress/skirt I wear boots. When the weather is too warm for that I suck it up and wear flats or sandals but it makes me feel weird, and as soon as I'm inside with air conditioning I am freezing.
I wore boots to my job interview even though it was in the 60s 'cause I knew grown-up shoes would make me feel like someone else and not like me. (Luckily I can wear jeans to the next interview.)
I like being barefoot too but I LOVE socks lol. To each his own

Got a call from Aodhan's Little League coach today. He asked if Aodhan would be interested in playing some games with another team, made of some kids from the major league teams and the minor league teams (he's on a minor league team this year). He was really excited about it! Of course the first game is this afternoon so had to switch up my 'winter/summer clothes swap out' project.
Emma has a soccer game this afternoon too which i'll have to miss. Bummer. But I love spring sports!
Disney World was so much fun! I had horrible strep throat though, but kept on goin', lol. We all had a blast, especially Jace!
I am actually depressed that I go back to work tomorrow. UUUGGGGHH.
I hit 19,000 posts on this website.
And i'd say probably 80% of them have been on this board!
ETA: I would love to know what percentage of those posts i actually spent talking about pregnancy or parenting

I love being barefoot or in sandals/flip flops. Unfortunately our climate doesn't always allow that (ha ha, we get just a few months of decent sandal/barefoot weather) and socks are a requirement most of the year outside the house. I'm really particular about my socks. Oh, and if you guys haven't tried them, look for the Dr. Scholls socks infused with aloe. OMG. Foot orgasm.
My dad was on a rant this weekend about people on flights who walk into the bathrooms without shoes on, and how revolting that is. (He has the best rants.) I totally agree! Gross.
