Ditto Stacey! That sounds like a good enough reason to me Was your hubby doing post grad or something like that? I know that he was in school but that's about it.
Lisa he was in an executive MBA program. So 21 months ago he left for a solid week of school, and a year ago right now his program was on a 12 day trip to hungary and turkey. Since he started he has been at school every other friday and saturday (he left at 8 am friday and got home at 5 on Saturday evening) straight through the 21 months. Its been killer in addition to his work travel.
Home now from going to my friends funeral in North Carolina. It was very sad, and I am thankful it was over. Aside from the funeral, the weekend was nice. We went on Saturday and stayed with SIL who also lives in NC. Then we went on Sunday evening after spending most of the day with SIL. We stayed in a hotel last night then came home today.
I love going barefoot, but it is rough on my feet.

I hate walking outside barefoot most of all. Creeps me out. I'm such an indoor city girl.
I hate socks too! But have to wear them most of the year in my boots. As soon as sandal weather hits I dont look back!
Today is Ari's birthday. What is it about 6 that sounds so much older than 5?

Welcome back, Bonita!
I have no idea what's going on in the world this week, but I have an interview at NBC for a really cool sounding job, they're trying to set it up for Thursday. Best part, I get to go to 30 Rock for it. (I have romantic notions about NBC, I admit it.)
I didn't even apply for anything! They have my resume from somewhere, I don't even know where.
I also got another photo in foodgawker this week (after 20 more rejections since the last two got in).
What a strange week this is. It's all good, though....even if it's just a lot of interviews, it's really good practice. Nutty!
Speaking of nutty, I've been adding wheat germ to a lot of my baking recipes lately. Anyone got any favorite quick bread recipes with wheat germ?
