It depends on the state you're in. Some states, like Pennsylvania where this occurred, have eliminated all state funding for abortions so poor uninsured women have to pay out-of-pocket or go somewhere like Planned Parenthood that can offer financial help. And some states have laws that restrict insurance companies from paying for an abortion so everyone has to pay out-of-pocket. And some states have put such severe restrictions on abortion clinics that there might not even be one within hours of your home, and it usually require two visits since most states now require a waiting period. All of that for a private medical procedure that should be no one else's business except the woman's and her doctor's. Shame on this country.
