    Default Greyhound therapy

    San Francisco City Attorney
Dennis Herrera is demanding that Nevada reimburse California cities and counties for treatment of about 500 indigent psychiatric patients who were given one-way bus tickets to the Golden State in recent years.

Those costs include about $500,000 that Herrera says San Francisco spent on medical care, housing and other aid for 20 people shipped here in a practice sometimes called Greyhound therapy.

Nevada could face suit for dumping patients in Calif. - SFGate

If California can prove that these psychiatric patients were "dumped" in California without any kind of support network, such as family or friends, without enough medication to see them through getting in to see a care provider, even without enough food to get to their destination, do you think Nevada should have to pay for the care they received? Should California seek a court order to prevent Nevada from doing this again? Will Obamacare help prevent this in the future, or make things worse?
David Letterman is retiring. Such great memories of watching him over the past thirty-two years!

This is a case of a mess dumping a mess. Obamacare wont touch this. This article doesn't prove anything one way or the other, but to prove that both states are a mess, and its sad that these poor sick unwell people with no loved ones just just get get shuffled from one place to another with extreme cost and no help and actual danger to the poor who are taking those busses. A ****storm.
