I know that there are others that disagree, but my personal position is that you should either provide health insurance or not, but that you should not be forced to provide health insurance at all. If a company has a moral objection to providing BC, they should be able to opt out of providing health insurance. For example, if the Hobby Lobby has a moral objection to the morning after pill that they just would not offer health insurance as a benefit for working for them. I think it would get too messy for a company to pick and choose what things they planed to cover. Let them not be in the health insurance business at all if they do not want to be. Do not force a company out because they will not go against their convictions.

Actually I did a long time ago. Guess you aren't as good at searching as you thought.

Paying into a health insurance premium is pretty much the same as paying taxes.

I pay into premium as employer. My employees use all covered services whether I agree or not.
I pay taxes into a taxpayer pool. Gov't uses it to fund covered things like lethal injection whether I agree or not.

    Same thing. Different beliefs.

Okay smarty pants, go back to post #59, which you didn't answer.

As to the latter, if it is getting an actual bill in the mail that you are worried about, don't! You won't get a bill directly in the mail for anyones MAP, or abortion, or death at the states hands, or death at the militaries hands. Yet you will and do help pay for EACH thing, every paycheck, via your tax dollars OR through your insurance copays. 2 of the 4 you have no problem with. As they say in institutions of higher learning "tough cookies".
    Thanks.

Where is the question? Looks like a statement to me.

    Thanks.
In my opinion it is not more appropriate to call someone a smarty pants than it is to swear at them. Both are inappropriate.

Seriously? You equate the F word with a kindergarden silly when someone is mocking you?

Dear sweet baby jebus I'm in the twilight zone. I'm going to bed. Good night moon. Goodnight mittens. Goodnight kittens.

    Goodnight debate board.

First I don't think the death penalty is murder. Second for things I don't agree with like taxpayer funded abortion, I don't have a choice on that about where my tax money goes. Which is not the same as a company who has a choice about how to spend their money and choose not to spend it on pills they feel result in murder. There is a difference in my taxpayer funds paying for abortion that I have no choice in and me writing a check to planned parenthood.
