Yes, RG I think we have different Gods. Mine is fairly nice and not invoking wrath on his children.
Least we can agree on something. I do think our view is different, I do think God is "nice" but "nice" is not his ONLY nor primary characteristic. I would say JUST and MERCIFUL are his two primary characteristics. He DOES discipline his children. The Scripture about wrath is not talking about his children but for their enemies. But yes he did turn his back on "his people" when they turned their back on him. That wasn't wrath it was discipline.

Trouble is.... the arbitrary line.
People are being courteous. Their line is just different than yours.
If your country was say allowing, condoning or making you participate in mass murder.. say take WWII and Hilter for an example.. I would hope you would say.. hell no, and not participate and there are of course things that cross our lines.. and again everyone is different. And at that point you WOULD or SHOULD extend your "moral quibble" onto everyone else. Thing is different people have different lines.![]()

But I believe I have shown how hobby lobby is being inconsistent with their line. Their line is not a line it is a couple of dots. Which is their right- but anyone who is arguing that they are being treated unjustly should recognize at this point that their argument is invalidated by the moral ambiguity of hobby lobbies actual position.
I do understand, but see it differently. I see it not as dots in an ambiguous line. I see it more as a mountain, and every regulation makes you slide further down, and at the bottom is burning lava. Just because past regulations are already in place and you conform to them... Doesn't mean you agree to them, but if you are about to slide further toward the lava you try and stop sliding further.
