Sorry, no article. I was at the doctors office recently waiting with my girls and was looking at the different brochures on the wall. One was on the HPV Vaccine.
A little back round. Overall I am pro-vaccines. Not that they should be required by law, but that it is the best thing for my family to do. DH is not a huge fan of vaccines though, so this is something we have gone around on. In the end, he has left the vaccine decisions up to me. My girls are up to date on all of their shots except for the flu shot which is not required here. So anyway, I have never really given serious thought to the HPV Vaccine and I thought it would make for a great debate and I would learn from all of your opinions. In theory, I could say that my daughters will wait until they are much older to have sex, but I do not want to gamble their safety on that and who is to say (Please not) they would not get raped. However, I have also heard others say it is not proven safe yet and has not been proven effective. (For reference, my oldest will be nine in a few months.)
