Ohio woman who drove on sidewalk to avoid school bus ordered to wear 'idiot' sign | Fox News

Nope. They should have tattooed it on her forehead.
I agree. This is way less than what I would give her.
Her earrings make my ears hurt.
Before clicking the link, I thought maybe she was trying to avoid hitting the bus and *accidentally* drove up on the sidewalk (which would still be a stupid move since kids were likely to be there) -- but this? It was a deliberate act.
I'm curious whether this was not the first time since the bus driver appears to be prepared to video tape her and for what her actions are going to be before she actually is where she would be expected to stop or am I viewing it incorrectly?
I was wondering about that too. It seems like if it was such an issue that he knew to take the recorder out that she would have changed either her route or the time?
I don't think they were harsh enough personally. I think she should have to do that for at least two weeks.
I read this elsewhere and I do believe she was known to do this. They were waiting for her and I'm okay with that.
I watched the video again and you can tell it is actually from two different times. The first time the car is coming up to the bus alone, and the second time there is a car in front of her that stops and she goes around that car too and onto the sidewalk. She really deserves the idiot of the year.
Wow. I can't believe how brazen she is about it. No hesitation, lots of other people around, what a piece of work.
Not sure how useful making her stand on the corner with a sign really is. I don't care for the punishment really.
I think they should have taken her car away and replaced with a segway. Much better for sidewalks.
Oh no, no Segways on sidewalks, please. Those things are so awful and the people riding them never seem to care about pedestrians.
I saw that on the news last night and they said the bus driver had witnessed the same driver do this on multiple occasions, and he had approached the police about setting up a sting to catch her in the act. Good for him! And she got off easy IMHO, I think one day for every time she was seen doing that would be a good start.
