I had no idea he was such a good painter and that he enjoys it so much! And I could have never guessed this secret talent. I hardly know what to say. LOL maybe he chose the wrong field? He loves painting dogs and landscapes of his Texas home.

It doesn't really surprise me. I think GWB is a very classy guy, and his wife Laura too. They have done many things here in Texas to help people quietly in the background, without seeking media attention.

LOL~so not my style for a painting but he does nice work.
Yeah i would not buy it. It doesnt really go with my decor lol. But i am genuinely shocked at the artistic side.

Ok, I can see I am much to grumpy today. Why does it shock you? I think anyone who makes it to being elected POTUS has got to be a smart and talented individual. Even if you do not agree with their policies, running a country as big as the USA is an enormous job. Anyone who can make it through one day without a mental break down IMO deserves some credit. I do not agree with Obama, but I can agree that he must be an intelligent person.

I can't speak for her but I didn't think of artistic abilities. It seems like most people are wired for intellectual things like being the POTUS or artistic things and the fact that he was capable of this is surprising.
Another example, my friend is super smart. She's a pediatric endrocrinologist. Has little artistic ability.
