Default Melissa's party: awesome or awful?

There must be a good reason why she hasn't posted since Thursday. Was her party so incredibly awesome that she's still basking in the glow? Or was it so awful that she dares not show up lest we ask about it?

David Letterman is retiring. Such great memories of watching him over the past thirty-two years!

Knowing that she's Italian, and having read about some of the things she cooks, I'm voting for awesome. Even though I think she had a caterer, she'd have made sure they did things right.

Out of context...this is just a fantastic statement.

Hey all! The party was great. EXHAUSTING. The new guy we hired got our basement finished on Friday afternoon and I was SO grateful to have the basement to escape to as it was super hot. We had 115, which is just a lot of people, any way you slice it. The ice luge was a big hit and my babysitter was a lifesaver with helping me. Hiring a guy to organize games and activities with the kids was also a good move. We borrowed one of those inflatable water slide things and had some sip and slides set up which was a good call as it was 90 and super humid. Its going to take a full few days to put the house back together.....we got a ton done yesterday but you know how it is ~ someones kids got into the playdoh in the basement, I have a feeling I may be finding playdoh balls around the house for quite some time!

That's great! So glad you had a great time and everything got done in time. I can't believe you had 115 people over. I don't even know 115 I'd want in my house, and I like people.

I can't even fit 15 in my house, the other 100 would have to take turns or something...

About 40 of those people were kids. And between our families and just our good friends? Yeah, 70 adults (or 35 couples?), easy.
