    Default Miley Cyrus VMAs

Ok so I don't pay that much attention to the VMA's, but this morning as I was driving to work they were saying something on the radio about Miley Cyrus's performance being very raunchy. So then I get to work and check my FB and see this...

It cracked me up, so then I have to go look up what her outfit looked like, and I have to say I thought it was REALLY ugly. Her performance WAS pretty trashy too, but that doesn't really surprise me.

So what do you think? Ugly or no worse than what anyone else has come up with considering Madonna and Lady Gaga have worn some pretty weird outfits too?

My FB has been full of commits on this as well. I have never watched the VMA so I do not know if it is so beyond the typical or not. I do think it is very poor taste and not something I want my kids watching or supporting.

You would think with all the designers and costume people and advisers she must have that SOMEONE would have spoken up and said that outfit isn't very flattering on her.

That is disgusting. It looks like she is wearing Silly Putty.

UGLY. She is such a pretty girl, and she looked horrible

But aside from that the way she was humping on Robin Thickes leg while he was singing was very degrading.

I can't believe you guys who are so aghast at people cyber bullying (your definition, Lisa and Bonita and Gloria, not mine) would cyber bully Miley like this. Comparing her to a piece of meat? Calling her ugly? Hmmmm.

Since I have no problem commenting on absurd outfits, I, of course, find it heinous. I'd even take a photo of someone wearing something like that and send it to a few of my girlfriends who I know would appreciate the humor, for shiz!

You really think commenting on a performer that was on a national stage is comparable to taking a picture with your phone and sending it to your friends?

Isn't the intention exactly the same? To make fun of someone and how they look and the outfit they chose?

My intention in this debate is not to make fun of Miley Cyrus. I feel very bad for her. I can agree that posting her picture along side of a chicken is not particularly kind.

It's true Bonita you didn't make fun of her at all. (sorry!)

Anyway I don't expect anything less from her OR from the VMAs, that's what the whole thing is! So it's fine. Hideous, but fine.
