Most clear-cut achievement for President Obama?

http://www.cnn.com/2012/05/01/opinion/sabato-obama-campaign/index.html?hpt=hp_t1
But did Republicans think Obama's most clear-cut achievement in his first term would go unmentioned? A campaign team that didn't focus on the key unifying event in Obama's entire presidency should be sued for political malpractice
*Not the whole article by any means

Do you think having OBL killed is what the campaign should be focused on?

 I would swear it would be repealing Don't Ask Don't Tell if they were going to do a military point. Or pulling out of Iraq. Or pretty much anything besides this and the healthcare bill.

I think it should be mentioned of course, but not put in as a campaign platform.

Research is showing that only 2% of likely voters are interested in US efforts in thwarting terrorism, but 51% are interested in what the candidates can do for the economy.

Just seems like bad strategy to me.

It is kind of amusing to me that that man who got the Nobel Peace prize rates killing Osama Bin Laden as one of his greatest acheivements.

He doesn't. That's one political columnist's opinion, that the campainn *should* focus on it because in that columnist's opinion, it is Obama's greatest achievement this term. I haven't seen it as a large part of Obama's campaign, only in the middle of a lengthy list of accomplishments.

I think my top three Obama achievements (sorry, can't pick just one) would be ending Don't Ask Don't Tell, refusing to defend DOMA, and expanding access to & funding for health care (love that kids with pre-existing conditions can't be dropped from health coverage!) My honorable mention list would be appointing two pro-choice women to SCOTUS, his green energy & energy efficiency work, and the increased support for the Veterans Administration.

As Stacey said he is not saying that this columnist is. I also don't see why he can't get the NPP because of that. That is 1 thing he did doesn't mean he is not promoting world peace.

There is a new campaign video out today that states that only Obama would have killed OBL, not Romney if he was president. I think his campaign is focusing on it.

I personally do think it is his only real clear cut achievement.

Please provide a link. This is the video that was released today and it makes no such claim.

OK, I found the video the article is referring to. Unfortunately most of the news sources are linking to the wrong video. How sad is that? The correct one is called "One Chance," and it does NOT say that no one else would have killed OBL, and it does NOT say that Romney wouldn't if he had the chance. It states that Obama did the right thing by doing it without hesitation. Yes, it quotes Romney, from the last presidential campaign saying it's not worth moving heaven & earth & spending billions of dollars to catch one person. A lot of us felt that way and that's why we were opposed to the war in Afghanistan in the first place.

So you don't think it is a big implication to say "What would Romney have done?" right before that quote? Weird even the liberal media is saying that is what they were implying.
