Look. I'm asking politely that you leave me alone. I don't like you, you don't like me, just ignore me please. If not, I'll start quoting you every time you break the rules and forget the lesson my mother taught me about not tattle telling.

I was raised poor and with made from scratch cakes. I didn't get a bakery cake until I was old enough to buy it myself.

If you would like to PM me feel free. Otherwise obey the forum rules and debate. I have asked the same thing of you several times, yet you have continued to curse at me and use foul language and hateful speech.

You brought up birthday cakes as a luxury, I'm debating it, if you don't want to participate, don't.

my kids haven't had a store bought cake yet.

Considering its proven record we felt it should apply here. Let's be adults that can communicate without the personal attacks, bashing, mocking, and/or demeaning of one another, or harassment. You aren't required to agree 100% of the time, but if you disagree please do so in a civil manner. We can guarantee if you don't that others will certainly call you on it.

Wait a minute. Are you stalking me? Seriously? If you were a better stalker, you would have noticed the cake said Zack and Danny. It was public because the mother asked me to make it public. I can't believe you had the balls to post that. Hilarious.

I have no idea what this means, Lillie. I'm not personally attacking you in disagreeing that a birthday cake for a child is not a luxury that all children on assistance should not be allowed to have. That is an opinion.

I have no idea what you are talking about again, Lillie. Do you have anything to add to the debate, Lilly? The only stalking I've seen going on around here is you quoting my posts in their entirety "for posterity". Anything you want to add to the debate ? As stated you are free to PM me, or you could shoot me a message on facebook if you wanted to contact me off site

How is this not attacking? Missy, you can go ahead and disable my account. I don't need someone with issues like this to the point where they go through my facebook looking for things to pick apart as a debater. Thank you to all the ladies out there who helped me spend some pleasurable moments with critical thinking and logic. Melissa, I hope you get some help, I added you to my prayers last night because I knew you must be really unhappy to take the time to try to get me banned and with the consistent twisting of things people said and name calling/bashing, but obviously you need a professional. I really hope you find someone you can talk to.

Lillie, I never tried to get you banned. I've never once PM'd Missy about your continued attacks and stalking of my posts. Not ONCE.

I didn't make you curse like a sailor and be unable to keep your temper or spew hatred all over this board. That was you. I've used the term "entitled" and said that I find it cruel to deny those poorer than me any semblance of a "treat". It isn't healthy to expect people to live that way. If you are personalizing this that is your problem. I've used those same terms in each of the debates we have had on this subject. If you think that I need a professional because I can keep my temper when you are losing yours all over the place.....well, okay!

I hope you find peace in your next endeavor. Thank you for your prayers, that is very sweet of you.

Okay...I missed something. When did having a birthday cake turn into a store bought cake?

Well, I think I missed more than that

I just made my daughter's birthday cake and it cost me a fortune. Probably more than it would have store bought because I had to buy about 4 billion different types of candy. Give or take. (Candyland cake)

On a side note...why would your mom want the pics public? It is such a safety issue, at least I think so. My mom gets concerned that my pics are private never mind making them public.

my mom made all of my bday cakes as a kid. We were poor, though never on assistance. Her cakes rocked! Still remember the pink elephant cake I chose from some magazine for my 5th birthday. I buy my kids cakes OR my sister makes them. I will cook a rockin dinner for the party, but I just don't like to bake.

When Giant or other grocery stores give away FREE sheet cakes for kids birthdays I hardly see some store bought birthday sheet cake as a luxury. Junk food item, yes, so maybe some would hold it against the poor under that umbrella like Deniz mentioned.
