Default OT -- need song idea

I'm putting together a slide show of photos from our soccer season to show at our end-of-season party. The team is all girls ages 6 & 7. I'd like to put a song with it. Any ideas? Thanks!

It's not a current song, but how about "All Star" by Smash Mouth? It's used in Shrek. I'm thinking specifically of the chorus (bolded below).

"Somebody once told me the world is gonna roll me
I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed
She was looking kind of dumb with her finger and her thumb
In the shape of an "L" on her forehead

Well the years start coming and they don't stop coming
Back to the rule and I hit the ground running
Didn't make sense not to live for fun
Your brain gets smart but your head gets dumb

So much to do so much to see
So what's wrong with taking the back streets
You'll never know if you don't go
You'll never shine if you don't glow

    [Chorus:]
Hey now you're an All Star get your game on, go play
Hey now you're a Rock Star get the show on get paid
And all that glitters is gold
Only shooting stars break the mold

It's a cool place and they say it gets colder
You're bundled up now but wait 'til you get older
But the meteor men beg to differ
Judging by the hole in the satellite picture

The ice we skate is getting pretty thin
The waters getting warm so you might as well swim
My world's on fire how about yours
That's the way I like it and I never get bored"

My husband suggests Queen's "We Will Rock You" and/or "We are the Champions." Might be a little much for 6-7 year olds, but...

I have to say that was my first thought, too! I told DH I need a rah-rah positive girl power song. He's usually the music master but I have him stumped.

How about "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus? It's sort of slow, so maybe not rah-rah enough, but it's about working hard.

Thanks! I ended up going with "Girl Power" by the Cheetah Girls and "All Star" by Smash Mouth. Before this, I had never heard of either song or either band, but these two songs are PERFECT!
