    We found a hotel! It's in a good neighborhood, with stuff we can walk to and a Metro station nearby. We're very excited. I'm going to buy our train tickets today. We are all getting so excited!

    Any favorite museums, kid things, restaurants, etc....send 'em along. Thanks so much everyone!

    (We're staying at the Residence Inn on P Street, whatever that means.)

    I also second the zoo. It's free. Everything is free in DC for the most part when it comes to museums the zoo etc.
