Teens Trash Ex-NFL Player's Home And Parents Are Mad At Him? : The Two-Way : NPR
Debate question, are the parents right to be angry with the homeowner or should they be more concerned with what their kids did?

That is so sad!!!! I would be furious if my kids were involved and I would be making them go out there to help clean up. I think he has every right to post pictures and tweets of anyone involved, if they weren't public he wouldn't have been able to get them. I can't believe that those kids feel no shame.

My son would be lucky to have the police handle it instead of me...I would be so unbelievably disappointed and furious with him.

Those parents are a disgrace.
Awful parents. He's not ruining the kids' chances of getting into college; they did that when they broke into his house and trashed it. Disgusting behavior.

Okay...I need to think this through out loud.
1. My kid attends a party where others are doing all sorts of things that are illegal and immoral.
2. My kid and his/her friends take all sorts of pictures memorializing the event
3. The pictures are posted on various social media sites
4. The person who owns the house reposts the pictures and requests cooperation
5. My kid's chances of getting into a good college are now ruined.
Not because of their actions but because the homeowner called them out on it? Your special snowflake's chance of getting into a good college is now ruined. I wouldn't fret...now we tax-payers will cover the cost of their tuition and perhaps your child can send you one of those cool "My child was inmate of the month" bumper stickers.
Who you gonna sue when that felony conviction ruins your child's chances of getting a job?
I feel so bad for this guy and these parents are failing as parents. Selfish actions by the children mirror selfish attitudes that they were raised with.

This was really close to where i grew up.
Your kid illegally uses and trashes someone elses property and then posts pictures of the event publicly on the internet...and now the parents are upset that everyone is seeing the pictures?
I can't even muster up an ounce of sympathy.
I agree with everyone else. Major parenting fail.
