I adore Pinterest and we've had many yummy dinners thanks to some recipes I've pinned. It inspires me to be a tad more crafty and creative (okay, I'm really just a copy-cat but I feel crafty and creative, lol). I even made my girls' teachers' Christmas gifts this year and was extremely proud of myself!

I maintain my boards pretty good though. I only pin things I'd actually do/make (no fantasy BS on my boards) and delete things that tasted gross or I sucked at making. I think Pinterest is pretty awesome!

Same here...I have a food I want to make board and if I make it and we like it enough to make it again it gets categorized into the type of food it is (desserts, main dish, sides etc.) so I can access it quickly. I am also one that is not crafty on my own and I like to get ideas. I did a few holiday ones that were easy but I never thought of doing (making my fridge into a snowman for one!)

I am organized too. Things I want to make, then the good ones get moved to another board after I make them. I don't cook, I bake, so that helps. I have a board for things July husband should cook as well, and some other fun ones.

I also delete things that did not turn out well, and do not pin things that I think are above my realistic abilities.

I think my favorite FB "poster" is the one that says something like "All these women are making soap and reindeer shaped treats, and I'm like, I took a shower and kept the kids alive." That about sums up Pinterest for me.

I don't spend much time there, as a function of time I just can't do crafts and creativity that like. However, we've gotten a few good ideas when looking for something specific (ie how to organize a laundry room when you have 5 kidlets!) And some good recipes, again when looking for something specific.

I love Pinterest! I got a cute haircut idea (searched "short haircut"), lots of recipes, gift ideas, Fall and Christmas decor. But, yeah, I often wonder when people find the time to DO all this stuff!! I have to remind myself (especially with blogs) that people are usually just doing a few things - like cleaning/making cute treats or refurbishing furniture/decorating or exercising or reading. They're probably not doing ALL of the above.

The only person doing it all is Ree Drummond. That woman must have a crack addiction and stay up all day to get done what she gets done

I am totally with Audra on this. I love to cook and I'm pretty into certain crafty things, but I just simply don't have the time for pinterest and quite frankly, I don't really care too much what other moms are into. I find my recipes in my tried and true cookbooks or magazines. I work 45 hrs a week and I'm took busy with the kids the other 4 hours I have with them each day (which isn't much and freaking SUCKS). Maybe I would love pinterest if I had the time, but I just simply don't.
