    Seriously. SHE'S 11!!!!
Yes and likely will have a C-section. I had 4 of them. I don't think her risk of death by C-section is any worse than anyone else's.

I was terrified that I was pregnant, I did not know the difference between changes in my body due to puberty and changes that would occur in pregnancy. My church would have approved an abortion had I been pregnant, though I am pretty sure I had no idea what that was.

Making a rape victim go through with an unwanted pregnancy continues the torture. I did have one friend who chose to keep her pregnancy from rape but she said it was very hard and although her son is now 20 she still feels the pain of his conception.
I am so sorry for your experience.

Is she mature enough to understand and consent to the risks of abdominal surgery? Didn't you argue on a surgery thread once that minors shouldn't be able to consent to these things.

But can consent to raising a child for 18 years.

    Got it.

She doesn't have to consent to raising a child for 18 years. Adoption is available to her at any time.

What meds do they use in prep for the C-section? Are they tested on girls this young?

Not everyone's risks are equal. Your success at 4 C-sections in no way determines the outcome of someone else's.

At 33, I couldn't handle the thought of giving a child up. It's an amazing thing and I know I couldn't handle it.

You don't think she could possibly have regrets on this?

Wait...so she could decide to terminate her parental rights when she gets tired of playing with her doll whether that child is 2 or 10?

She can change her mind about adoption if she can't handle having a baby. You can't bring a baby back from the dead.

You can't take your child back after giving them up either.

Choices always have a pro and con. It just really awesome to have access to all your choices.
