With DD I went into PTL at 22.5 weeks - 1.5 cm dilated and 100% effaced. A week in hospital with all the shots they could give to stop labour and mature her lungs. After the rest of my pg on bedrest I delivered at 38 weeks - 8 lbs 11 oz, and thank GOD she wasn#t to term. With DS I was 2 cm dilated at 28 weeks, another bedrest. At 35 weeks I was 5 cm dialated and delivered at 37 weeks (broke my water), 8 lbs 4 oz. And again, I am thankful I didn#t go to term. I can grow #em, just have a hard time keeping them in. It felt like DS was going to fall out of me for those few weeks before he was born.

Oh my gosh, thank goodness you were able to keep them to term (or close enough!) How scary. I don't blame you at all for deciding that two is just fine.

Oh gosh you two make me feel like a whiny baby. I had my kids at 36 weeks and 36 and 6. After 1 miscarriage I bled brown blood until week 8-10 with both. I thought that was scary. Power to you ladies.

Mmm butter tarts. I love butter tarts. No one else in my family likes them though, they are so sweet. They do freeze well though, I baked some 3 years ago and took out one a week for months.

I'm going to try these over the weekend but with chopped walnuts instead of pecan pieces, just because I have chopped walnuts to use up.
David Letterman is retiring. Such great memories of watching him over the past thirty-two years!
