Spin off -missing Thanksgiving to camp out

The news is reporting the customers who are hell-bent on a center deal have been or will be camping out soon outside the store with the deal they want.

Is it all getting out of hand? Where do we draw the line and change things?

I remember the days of camping out at the box office to get prime tickets for concerts. As much as I loathe Ticketmaster, it is a better way. So what would you view as a solution or improvement to camping out on Monday - 84 hours before the store opens for Black Friday?

The only solution is for people to stop being so materialistic, to stop wanting things so badly that camping out for days to get a deal seems like a reasonable thing to do. If that were someone I loved, I'd tell them to get help. Seriously. Sad Get a life.

If someone really wants something that bad to camp out for a week before, I say go for it. I hope they freeze their pants off! There is nothing materialistic wise that I need bad enough to take a week out of my life to sit day and night out front of a store.

I agree. Sad to miss out on good experiences for material things.

I can only imagine that if a person is doing that they are desperate. Maybe buying quantity to resell? That's how they earn a living?

I agree. Priorities seem totally messed up.
