You can call it murder if you want. Doesn't bother me any. I would fight for the right of an innocent child not be be murdered over a convicted killer any day.

It's only innocent on a technicality, remember. As soon as its born its a sinner like the murderer A preemie totally confuses everything.

There is no technicality for me since I don't believe in original sin I don't believe a baby is a sinner.

Here is yet another example as to why we can't base laws on our version of morals. We only have to abide by current laws and what we personally would do...not project it onto others.

I think as humans we do share a sense of morality such as stealing from someone is bad. But we certainly can't say ...hey tis one aspect of my religion should be law but the bit you believe in...I don't so we won't consider it.

The current laws? Like the ones legalizing abortion and state sponsored murder? I don't know, maybe you could fill us in?

As to original sin, it's still a technicality and you know it. Babies practice breathing in the womb, at the moment of conception with a sinful nature thanks to Adam's taint, the willful nature of a 2 year old not honoring his father or mother, whatever, its all the same, you know full well you are just dickering over shades of grey A sinner is a sinner, murder is murder, you vote for it gleefully at the hands of the state via war and capital punishment yet love to talk about chopped up babies as though its all that different.

Yes our current laws are based on morals. Our morality has slipped quite a bit over the years which is why murdering an innocent child is now legal.

No its not a technicality because I don't believe that Adam's sin is passed on to an innocent child. Or what is called original sin. I don't believe a child is a sinner. So that may be a problem for you but it isn't for me. I don't believe a child sins until they are old enough to understand the concept of God and what sin is, and that is definitely not a 2 year old.

My morals haven't slipped any. Have yours? And..............wait, you think that we have SLIPPED from GENOCIDE (that messy Native American thing) and global slave trade of millions of africans. Wow. Hm. Lots to think on. Could you elaborate on this slipping thing? Who slipped, exactly?

No, there is no problem for me. I only worry about my morals and instilling morals in my k ids......so I don't abort babies but I also don't judge others for doing it. I don't have gay marriage but i don't try to stop others from doing having the right to legally. I don't see murdering "criminals" (innocent or guilty) as different than murdering fetuses. And I was totally hammered with the whole God sees all sin the same thing as a kid. As well as the God judges thing. So, I just worry about my sin and stuff, I'm so self centered like that, so I don't get you guys who are all SO focused on other peoples sin. Its fascinating to me.
