I did not take is as insulting. It is an honest question. I actually wish my girls had the opportunity to know what it is when they are young, so that they do not become super curious and try to find out in a few years.

It says so in the original FOX news article. seriously. it does. I'm curious to know why anyone would have their 6 year olds in a college locker room anyway actually.

Because lots of colleges have youth programs. It is still a school. It is not an adult bookstore or stripclub. It is not outrageous for kids to be at a school.

I used to take my kids into the shower with me all the time. It was so much faster & easier than running a bath when we all needed to get ready at the same time. Tiven can do the job herself now but I still take Weston in with me occasionally.

Ohhh I see. We never did that and i never let my kids see me without clothes. My husband either. We keep bodies more private.

Yeah, we're not so big on hiding our bodies. I'm very modest in my dress when I'm outside the house, but in my own home with my own family, I'm not going to be a prude. As Tiven got older DH started covering up more, and as Weston gets older I'll probably try to do the same, but we see nothing wrong with the human body. Also, we live in a tiny apartment with only one bathroom, so things might get seen a bit more than in other homes. I like that my kids see real saggy breasts and stretch marks and a lopsided belly from me bringing them into the world, and not just the fake propped-up Spanxed-in "beauty" that they see everywhere else.

I have boys and girls, so I think that makes a big diff. I am also not really shy about my body in front of my kids. They are often in the bathroom when I am showering and I rarely get to take a private pee :) As I said, my husband is starting to be a little more shy in front of our daughter, but I still have a little boy who likes to run naked through the house :)
