We have debated a variety of these cases. Here's a new one making the news:
[h=1]Mom questioned over son's solo outdoor playtime[/h]Short version: Mom has 3 kids & lives in suburbs. Allowed her youngest (age 6) to go across the street to play in green space without an adult supervising. Neighbor brought kid home and questioned mom. Next, police came and questioned her. Finally - few days later - CPS came to investigate... interviewing all three kids about drug use, viewing of 'naked' people in movies, etc. Kids now fear they did something wrong by playing on their own.
At what age would you allow your child to play outside without an adult?
