Those Amazon reviews are great, the latest one to make the circuit is the one for the horse head mask. George Takei posts them on FB all the time too!

Ya I think it was the George Takei page that I saw this one posted on a few weeks after I shared it. I noticed it when another of my friends shared it off of his page.

Sorry I quit this for a bit, we took off to go camping.

I think for me the line when it goes from being acceptable (again this is my personal morals here) to unacceptable is when you take a picture. I have no issue with looking and think "what is up with that" and getting a little laugh, I do agree with that being human nature. But people have cameras with them all the time now and taking picture to make fun of people, it just bothers me. I really do hate that everything is caught on film now, and so thankful none of my friends had camera phones when I was a teenager

I don't really see a big dividing line there, but to each her own. If I'm alone and I see something funny, I'll photograph it to share with someone. Sometimes it's a guy on the train with two lizards, sometimes it's a horrible outfit, sometimes it's a funny sign.

Yep, I use instagram, too and love it. My Mom has been away for most of the summer and though she isn't very internet savvy and never checks her FB account and doesn't skype she can follow my instagram feed. She sees pics of her grandkids every day, and I also sometimes take pictures of things that amuse me. Never ever thought of that as being "horrifying", and as my account is private I don't worry about the pics going to the "wrong number" ~ I mean, some of this is just ridiculous. I also have photos of myself and others as teenagers that we all get good laughs from. I guess some people are just way way more sensitive than me. I can laugh at myself and I am sure that people have laughed at me and I can admit that I have laughed at others. Its life?

I think it has to do with the intention behind it. I laugh at myself a lot. I am fine with messing around with friends. That is inclusive. When it becomes a mechanism for shaming someone or elevating yourself at the expense of someone else, it changes for me and is no longer cool, kwim?
