I got to interview Dave, Boyd, and Carter years ago and it was an amazing experience. I have a huge crush on Dave which made it even more fun, but mostly I got to talk to them about making all their videos & got great stories out of them. They were all so nice! I love them and I loved Dave's solo album too.
Crush is also my fave DMB song and Dave is super cute. Definitely in my top 10.

So we can go to a DMB concert all together it seems.

Most of those things on my top 10 list are there because of working out, thats the main time I listed to my iPod In reality I listen to much more mellow music. I probably own every Dylan, Springsteen and Grateful Dead album out there, though I burnt out on Dylan and the GD after about 20 years and dead tour etc. These days I'm listening to a lot of Avett brothers, Mumford and sons, Bonnie Raitt, Patty Griffin etc etc.

With one notable exception* I have rarely been to a concert that I did not enjoy even when I had no idea who the group was or what kind of music they played, even sometimes when I didn't particularly like the "hit song" on the radio I've enjoyed a concert. I just love the experience of live music -- the synergy of the musicians together on stage and how the band and the audience interact, even two shows of the same act on two different nights are completely different experiences. So I'd probably be game for a concert with any of you. Except maybe country music, I can't stand country, but might be willing to try if it involved pg.org buddies.

    * it was an act at an outdoor music festival in 1993, in between the evening opener and closer, and the music was just awful. The guy couldn't sing, the lyrics were terrible, even the music wasn't that great if you could ignore the vocals, it seemed like the drummer & bassist were playing a different song than the guitarist & singer. Pretty much everyone on the field got up & wandered out to use the restroom, get a drink or food, check on their kids in the play area, etc. We actually bought one of their CDs to take home, thinking maybe they just had a bad show. Nope. They were really that bad.
