I know this is a very biased show, but I wonder what you all think of what Giuliani has to say about the case. (I did not listen to the rest of the interview because I do not love the person after him. I only listened to Giuliani.)

I'm having trouble with my internet or sound or something because that track keeps pausing & starting & pausing. I do tend to agree with Mr. Guiliani that the prosecution doesn't seem to be too interested in actually prosecuting this case, which doesn't really surprise me since they basically had to be forced by public opinion to bring it to trial. But I disagree with his apparent takeaway from that, which he seems to think means there isn't a case. As shown by this debate, there are a lot of us who believe there is a case, and that the prosecution put forth enough evidence for a jury to convict. I also rather disagree with Mr. Guiliani's assertion that Jonathan Good's account of the supposed fight is credible, because if it happened the way Mr. Good described, there would have been Zimmerman's DNA on Trayvon Martin, and there wasn't.

I am not sure that the public having an opinion that the case was a good strong case makes it a good strong case from a legal perspective. I think the prosecution in FL is way more educated on the exact verbiage of what the laws are in FL and what they could potentially win a case with. If he gets acquitted I believe it will be because of the way FL is written, not necessarily because the Jury believes him to be innocent.

Can I just say I'm really not impressed with either attorney. The little bit I saw on the news today had me thinking, "You can't be serious!?"

If another trial goes the way of the OJ Simpson and Casey Anthony trials it will be a travesty. The media should stay out of the courtroom. In fact, in highly publicized cases like these there should be a media blackout.

How funny, I don't know one person IRL who thinks is WAS self-defense.

This trial has been a joke, though. Unfortunately, I think he's going to walk.

The judge added manslaughter charges today, so now the jury will have that option.
