Party time!

Is it really almost two years?!? So hard to believe.
Have you started thinking about party theme yet? If your having a theme, that is.... I'm curious, what will you be doing? Seth is having a 'Sethy's (Elmo) World' party. I'm going to make a Dorothy, the goldfish in her fish bowl, cake.
What are your plans?

I'm not planning a theme party. I'm just hoping to be able to have a party at my house. If the frame and outer shell of the addition is done, I'll have the space. It won't be heated or insulated though, so I might just put food out there?
Otherwise it'll just be cake and tea/coffee for geographically close family members like last year. Or MAYBE I'll rent a place but I'd rather not.

I think we will just have a cook out or something, we haven't really decided yet. Depends on the weather. Right now it is really nice but it could turn cold. She really only has a few kids who would be coming - 3 cousins and maybe one neighbor. So we might end up just meeting at a pizza place if its too cold to play outside. I don't know about a theme... depends on what they have at Party City. Smile I will just let her pick something out.

I would LOVE to just go some place, truth be told. I'm really anal about having DH's family in my house cause they are messy and don't take their shoes off on the carpet. Uh, hello! It's wet and nasty out! Duh. Hahaha. Hi. My name's Marie, and I have a problem...... Biggrin

I keep going back and forth, between a party and a day at the zoo. Her self named"buddy" from daycare will be out of town that weekend, and all the other moms I know have kids much older 7 is the other youngest. So maybe a simple party for grandparents and uncles on Friday just cake, and balloons Minnie themed decor : ) If weather is good Saturday or Sunday zoo trip if the Giants aren't in the Superbowl Sunday may be a good day no crowds.

We're not going to do parties this year for either kid. We might just take them to do something fun. I don't have the time/energy/desire to do anything this year anyway.

We're doing a Yo Gabba Gabba party...I've always been really big on Birthdays...I feel like its the one day for everyone to celebrate You, ya know? I have a tendency to go all out on peoples birthday bc I want them to feel special.
