How many kiddos do you want?

What kind of birth are you having?

Anything weird or different about this pregnancy?

How did you and DH meet?!

We want 4 so one more after Colin :). We really, really thought we were done at 2, to the point we gave pretty much everything away...oops

Not really weird, pretty much the same symptom wise but I am finding myself so much more exhausted and in more pain (darnit) than the first two. I am having to talk myself through the anxiety and worry of baby coming early. I have no real reason to worry about this, just me being crazy...

Dh(Jason) and I met while I was in college and he was working with my cousins husband. We knew each other casually for 8 months or so, started dating in May of 02' engaged in August and Married in March of 03' (fast Lol

We've been married for 8.5years. Our wedding was small and simple. Going back there are a few things I would change but it served it's purpose of us getting married hehe.

I am staying home but trying to find little ways to bring some income in so things are completely strapped. I intended to go back to work when Connor was 5 or so months old and had a complete breakdown about it. We did some adjusting in our finances and I haven't been back.

My first birth was pretty nerve wracking for me. I was induced at 35wks for pre-e. I went in really wanting as natural as possible. My bp was crazy and I remember just being pretty out of it. I didn't get an epi but got some neubain (sp?) toward the end. I don't know if it was the pain meds or not but the hrs after his arrival are very blurry and most of my memories are from pictures. There was a lot of his birth that after the fact was very emotional for me. I've really had to come to terms (and have) that for what it had to be it went, very, very well. They started pitocin at 6:30 and I had him at 6:23. My water was broke at 1pm (when I was bairly 2cm) so from there things went pretty fast (2-complete in less than 5hrs) I only pushed 4 times and he was here.

With Isaac I was 3 days passed my edd and my sister is the only person who could take care of ds1. she was coming over to hang out for the day. It was a thursday and she's hard to reach at work on weekends so I decided it was a good day to have a baby and tried castor oil (i was 3cm and prob. 80% effaced) With Isaac I also was hoping for a natural delivery so I really wanted to labor at home as long as possible. I felt my first contractions at 6:30ish, started timing them around 7:15 and they were getting painful. By 8 I was having to be in my own zone to get through them. Dh really had to be firm with me to get off the floor and in the truck to go to the hosp. We left our house about 8:30 something, arrived at the hosp (water broke in the truck!) about 8:50 nurses had to help me out of the truck and 'make' me get on the bed and Isaac was born after just 3-4pushes at 9:07 it was so fast and so, so awesome. The most painful part of his birth was after when they massaged my uterus (ouch!) Isaacs delivery and time after were very healing for me. Our experience with him as a newborn were completely different and positive compared to Connors. Hoping Colin comes as quickly as Isaac did, fingers crossed lol!

oh my gracious, i am sure i'll get some eye rolls for this but i

Ok onto babies lol, I am going to sound so corny right now but i love the cacoon of newborness for me. I am super blessed to get my hubs home for 6wks and have incredible family that gets it, if they come visit they expect nothing from me and they clean :). I love to hold my baby(ies) as much as they want and I love nursing. I love so much about a new baby. Also, I love the personal time my family and I get together after baby arrives and hubs is awesome about taking care of the big kids so i'll get to really figure out Colin and our routine before he heads back and i'm full time mommy again.

My least favorite part is the juggling of taking care of baby and still fulfilling my other responsibilities. The last few months i've worked really hard on getting a good routine where housework it taken care of and nothing really takes too long. I am worried that I will completely lax on all that b/c i'll be so wrapped up with baby.

His name is Colin Ryan Smile

I have two sisters, one has a daughter and one has a stepdaughter. We are all five years apart but as we've become adults, we've gotten closer.

Christmas eve/morning will be spent at home with just the 4 of us. Christmas afternoon we will go up to the IL's for big dinner and stay the night. The day after we will have my family over (or we'll go there not sure) for family dinner. Pretty low key this year. Super excited for the boys' gift though they are getting this from jason and I and his parents http://www.meijer.com/s/john-deere-12v-gator-hpx-battery-operated-ride-on/_/R-171061

Snow here is hit and miss. We are in the willamette valley in oregon we are about 500ft above sea level. Last year we had 2 awesome, awesome snow weeks but that's not a gurantee. Our good snow usually comes (if it comes) later in january or early feb. We can have full winters though where we don't get snow at all. We live about 1-2 hrs from tube parks and skiing though so if we want to go play it's not very far.

ice cream waaaay too much

We are trick or treating with my niece and the boys' grandparents. We will probably go trick or treat at the business downtown then go out from our neighborhood at dark. Dh has to work but gets to come take his lunch and be with us for about 45 mins.

How did you decide on your boys' names? Do they hold special meaning?

How do your boys feel about having another brother?

their first names were just names that we liked. Jason 'named' Connor and I picked Isaac and Colin is back to Jason. Their middle names, Connor John and Isaac Thomas are after their Grandfathers (j's dad, my dad) Colin's middle name will be Ryan after his daddy :). We also have a 4th boys name and a girls name picked out and ready for #4 he/she will also be named after a grandparent.

The boys are really excited. My little one keeps telling me how he's going to teach Colin to talk and play. My oldest way laying his head on my tummy and he got kicked a few times. I told him it was Colin and that he could talk to him so he did for a while, it was sweet. I don't really know if they 'get' the difference between what a brother or a sister would've meant. Right now they are excited for Colin to come play Smile
