What do think your having?

Have you done any of the wives tales to get a gender prediction?

Are you nervous about going from one baby to two?

Are you and DH "keeping the love alive"? lol

How many kids do you hope to have?

What are your favorite movies/TV shows?

Do you work or SAH?

I have NO idea what this baby will be! I can picture it either way- though wouldn't be surprised if its a boy because the pregnancy is similar to Ronan's I guess? Honestly though- I have NO intuition yet!

I am a little nervous about going from one to two babies- Ronan is starting to pull himself up to stand a cruise a little- and I know he'll be even more mobile than he already is soon- so I'll be kept on my toes! Really what I'm most nervous about is taking care of Ronan in the first couple of weeks after the c-section.

We keep our love alive maybe 2-4 times a month hahaha. Hey maybe that's an indication of girl- last pregnancy I wanted it a lot more by now I'm pretty sure! I think DH understands though- he's not super annoying or pushy about it when I say no at least, and for that I try to initiate every now and then!

As of now I'll be ok having 2 kids, but we aren't making it impossible to have more. When I watch shows or movies with big families I want 5, but when I hang out with my sister and her 3 kids I want 2 Smile I know when they're your own its easier- so that's why we're open to 3. If we DO go for a third it'll be awhile down the road- not just 13 months apart like this time!

I have a lot of favorite movies! I think my favorite of all time is Pulp Fiction. Otherwise I really like comedy and some off-beat ones. Has anyone seen Machete? I love it! It's definitely not for everyone though! I also really like Boondock Saints. But, I have to admit I have some girly favorites too- like The Notebook. Who wouldn't love that one!?
For TV I really only watch House, Private Practice and Grey's Anatomy- though I try to keep up with How I Met Your Mother, Weeds, Dexter, Californication and True Blood- but that's often as a season when it comes out to rent. I LOVE watching baseball and football though- whenever possible!

I was working as a CNA while in Nursing School but for now am just doing school and staying home!

I'm from WI and met a friend once who was from VA. DH, Jeff, came to visit that friend as he was a childhood friend of his, and we met and hit it off. He was in WI for a week and we spent it all together and it was perfect. Keep in mind I was just 20, he was 19 for this next part. I moved out to his parents' house a month after we met for the summer (near DC) and then after the summer he moved back to WI with me! It's a crazy story- especially moving across the country to be with someone you just met- but luckily it all worked out!

We have 3 dogs-
Oscar is a German Shephard/ Boxer mix (with Ronan when he was tiny!)

Stanley is a Newfoundland (also with Ronan back then)

Floyd is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever/ Silver Lab mix

have you started to make any changes to prepare Ronan for a baby? (i know he's super young right now just curious)

do your dogs act differently during your pregnancy?

Thanks! I love hearing stories from others who have babies close in age- its encouraging!

DH will have off from work but still have school for the 2 weeks right after we have the baby- so that'll be some help- then maybe my sisters will stay for awhile- not sure!

Ronan likes to pull my shirt up and lick/kiss my belly- and then I talk a little about it being a baby- but I don't think he could get it really. I don't know what else to do... My sister just had a baby 2 weeks ago- so it was fun showing her to him- and he was pretty good- he slobbered her face and patted her- not too bad!

My dogs do not act differently at all I don't think!

Do you have names picked out?

Did you and DH ever argue about names now or with Ronan?

Where did you grow up?

Have you started or plan on starting any tradtions with your kiddos?

One thing you ADORE about ur DH?

One thing that DH does that annoys you?

We honestly don't have names picked out yet- its nuts. We have a couple of each gender that we like, and we'll probably add to the list instead of narrowing it down. For Ronan we had 3 of each gender ready when he was born and picked then, though I think we had been leaning towards Ronan for the last 2 weeks of the pregnancy already!

I wouldn't way we argue really, but we definitely will veto some of the other's choices. I haven't fallen completely in love with a name that he won't even consider, so I think that helps! Plus, as of now the whole name business feels sort of abstract still, if that makes sense- s it hasn't been a heated debate yet!

I grew up in a town of about 5000 a half hour outside of Madison WI. Then after HS I lived in Madison for college (UW-Madison)- then when I was 23 we moved up near Appleton, WI. I honestly really like living in the midwest- though DH wants to move out East because that's where he grew up (VA)- and he doesn't like the winters here Smile We'll see Wink

I hope to do traditions with my kids that my parents did with us. My mom was all about holidays. Even some of the smaller ones she'd get us a little gift- like Valentine's etc- and I think that was fun. I really need to put some thought into this topic actually- I've been thinking about it some lately- with Ronan's first xmas and birthday coming up! Our family gets together a lot- so we will definitely keep that up for sure!

I love how calm DH is. He seriously can handle anything- and never lets his emotions get the best of him. That always helps me put things into perspective if need be. We very rarely argue about things because he is that easy going (though he's not a pushover either)- so that's nice!

It annoys me sometimes that DH doesn't feel the need to straighten up the house when I've been gone all day. I'm the type of person that feels calmer if things are clean- and he could care less how things look. It really just ends up meaning I do more of the cleaning because I care more about it and isn't a big deal- but sometimes when I come home from being gone for awhile it'd be nice to not have to start dishes, etc!
