My Poopy Appt Tuesday

*Copied from my FB with an update on the bottom*
Got there my BP was 130/80 not horrible but much higher than it has been. My Blood Sugar readings at home were fine and then the last 2-3 days its been insanely high no matter what I eat or drink. [At the office it was 100 while fasting. which is high for me usually Im about 80-85 while fasting]

The OB I saw today was having a heart attack about my BP, swelling and the protien in my urine. She said its not enough yet to say pre-e but it could be heading there. She also wants me to start medication for the Blood sugar, i asked if I could wait and test until thursday call with the results and go from there, she was reluctant but agree'd.

I have Another full OB check next Monday the 19th because she feels like I am not taking enough caution. -Eye roll- Im also schedualed for another u/s because he measures big, on the 21st.
[I feel a big baby card being thrown my way here soon.] It was more a bad appointment for the 'freak out factor' the OB had than anything else.

Update:
My 2 morning sugar levels the last two days are perfect, as soon as I start eating it sky rockets to the 170s+ and stays up there 2-3hours after. ): I gotta call in tomorrow and give them the results from the last three days. Which I know they will say its too high, I need to see a specialist, blah-dee blah-dee blah. What stinks is it doesnt matter what I eat, carbs, no carbs, sugar no sugar it goes up and stays up until the next day.
My BP however has been AMAZING 114/69 yesterday and 119/70 today. So I think that high BP was a fluke.

the high bp was prob you kinda stressing out about what they would say about the blood sugar. Hopefully everything calms down soon so the ob's can stop freaking out. i hope they don't push you towards too early an induction for 'big baby'. are they worried enough about your protein yet to make you do the crappy 24hr catch? frustrated for you!

I did do the pee in a jug for 24 hours...UGH It grosses me out that it needs to be in my fridge. Thankfully we have a mini fridge and I saved grocery shopping until this weekend so it was empty. I get the results at my appointment Monday. (:

BP today-119/68 Again PERFECT! Biggrin

Blood sugar this morning-74 1hr-After my breakfast of an Apple, yogurt and cottage cheese 167. 2hs-160....Still taking forever to drop. ):

On a happy note, I finally got my ultra thin lancets! Biggrin Ugh They feel soo much better than the regular ones! No sugar in my urine so far so yay, it seems to just be taking f o r e v e r to leave my system and be processed.

I hope your pee stays sugar free LOL
