Do you like your doctor/midwife/etc? Why or why not?
YES! I LOVE my 4 midwives! They are like family to us (we had the same ones with Lola). I am always so excited for my appts because we get an hour to just chat about whatever and of course listen to baby and do the vitals and stuff. It is funny becuase the birth center has a certain smell (lavender, tea brewing, herbal smell) and as soon as I walk in I am immediatley relaxed and at ease. Plus the place is like a house so it isn't at all like going to a office building at all. Anyway I could go on and on but I LOVE my care and feel completely safe and taken care of.
I love my OB! This is the third baby I've had with her and she's always been amazing! However, if she starts to get negative about me getting my VBAC, I am prepared to switch, no problem. I'm not having another c-section and that's all there is to it. lol
My midwives are awesome and my back up ob is too.
I love my OB actually. He's an older gentleman, but completely open to newer ideas (ie- he brought up a VBAC before I even asked about it). It's nice to feel actually cared for and not just like a number. He's so smart and can answer any question I have without sounding know it all. Very good bedside manner and funny!
LOVE LOVE my Dr am yet to meet the midwives
I Love my OB... she is great, she is often a bit cautious because I am plus sized... but I can deal with that.
As it turns out we are both now in NY, however we grew up only 50 miles from each other in Michigan... no wonder I like her - she isn't a native NYer!!
I really likedmy midwife last time. She was a student Midwife and this time she's my primary midwife. I haven't met the other 3 yet. My first appointment is this Thursday
i adore one of the midwives and the other i like. haven't met the ob they work with but IF i were to have to get transferred to an ob's care I would go elsewhere anyway (long story). honestly, i am still wavering about my decision to deliver at the hosp they work out of...thinking of changing idk...has nothing to do with them just the hosp they work out of...
I LOVE my OB! He is wonderful, takes his time to explain and answer anything, and it awesome about my nerves with this being my first. And I ESPECIALLY love that he's sneaking me in on Friday for the early gender U/S!!!
I love my OB. I have seen him for 10 years (initiated all my fertility testing and tried Clomid/IUI) and he has been great to me the entire time. I am so much more attached to him than any of my RE's. He is energetic, but easy going and is very reassuring. I always feel so much better after seeing him! Going again on Friday!
I have said this a billion times but I go to a group practice; I adore two of them and loath the other, if she is on call when I go into labor I may drive to another hospital. She is rude, uncaring and just flat out mean.
