Trying Not to be Nervous

Hey guys - I hate being paranoid, but I just have to say...my nausea suddenly seemed to go away last Friday and hasn't really been back. I was happy to be able to eat again, but of course as the days go on I'm starting to worry. I know that's silly, but I am. I should be excited because the next three days are going to be a whirlwind with a conference my work is hosting here that I'm heavily involved in...so nausea would NOT help. But I still can't help my stupid pessimistic side in my brain worrying that something is wrong.

Sorry, just had to vent.

OOh don't be so upset. I was the same way! My all day sickness seemed to go away half way through week 8. I actually got sick with a stomach virus 4th of july weekend and went to the ER so I could get fluids. Well I told the OB doctor today that I was worried about it but the baby is doing fine. I have heard it can come back though.

Thanks ladies, I'm trying to be logical and just enjoy this time off of nausea, it's just so hard. I had a previous loss so it's hard not to imagine the worst I suppose!

Are you on prenatal vitamins? The B6 (I am pretty sure that and vitamin c) helps with nausea. I haven't really had any bad nausea at this point too. I'd say, with your loss history, that it may be worth your peace of mind to call the doc.

I feel generally better but sometimes get hit with waves of nausea- you're probably just gonna be that way- which is good! I also find that if I'm in the heat more I feel worse- so maybe you've just been taking care of yourself and its paying off?

I know it is scary when your symptoms stop, but if its just nausea I would enjoy the little break. I got sick between week 8 and 14 and it only started at 4:00 p.m. like clock work. It was the strangest thing! Good luck to you!

Hi ladies! Thanks so much for the replies! I'm sorry I was a bit MIA - I had a conference this week that my group hosted for all our eMedia managers, so I was at the hotel all week running around like a maniac. Of course, that was the time my nausea finally decided t show back up with a vengeance! Wink

Between the not being able to sleep and the nausea (I finally threw up for the first time, lol!), I had a great time and am so happy it went well. I was the main organizer for the thing, so the fact that it went great and everyone was happy while I was trying not to toss my cookies made me feel good about the job I had done. Wink

I feel better today, after catching up on sleep, but the nausea is still there in the background. Oh well, I guess I should be.......happy? Wink

I'm so glad to hear you're feeling crappy again! And yes, happy, too, huh?!

Also glad all your hard work paid off and was appreciated!
