Thread: First Prenatal Appt?

Just curious if anyone else has their first prenatal appt set up yet? Or if you have already had it, how did it go?

My first appt is June 29, the day after we get back from our vacation in New York City. Looking forward to it, as I am always a nervous wreck until I hear the first heartbeat.

Mine is scheduled for July 9th, but I have an early u/s on June 22nd.

I am scheduled for July 19th in the morning

I guess I've had my prenatal appointment with my GP a couple of weeks ago. Right after the fertility clinic contacted me about my BFP (via urine test at the lab) I contacted my GP right away and she got me in the next day on June 1. But it was just testing with another urine test. She's scheduled me for a physical exam June 25. She sent a referral over to my OB, but who knows when I'll get in....

I have a 7w U/S scheduled which was set up by the fertility clinic - in fact I need to get the req from them right before I had over to the U/S place down the hall from them. It's this coming Monday, June 18. I've been excited so far during this pg, but now I'm getting quite nervous. I hope it will be good and we see a baby or two there!

I had my appt with my family Dr the day we found out, but that was just sending me for a blood test to confirm. I see him again at the end of this month, and then my first appt with the OB is July 4th.
I'm a worrier and a planner, so I'm really anxious to hear the heartbeat and find out that everything is OK!

I know how you feel! I won't be able to really relax until I hear that heartbeating

It will be extra special because my mom will be with me this time (I lived too far away when I had my DD). Good luck on the 4th!

Sophia, thinking of you and impatiently awaiting your update.

My first appt isn't until 7/26! I was unsure of the exact day of my last period, so the receptionist scheduled it based on the last day in may to "make sure you're far enough along to see something." eh, ok I guess. I should be about 9 weeks at that time. I know it'll be here before I know it though!

My first appt is next week, the 27th and I can't wait!! I had a ruptured cyst right at the same time as getting pregnant and am feeling strange sharp pains (that of course im not used to being as this is my first pregnancy) so I think I'm extra nervous. Probably more than I really need to be. It'll bring me a lot of relief just to know all is well with baby.

Wow that sure is a long time to wait!!! Sorry! (((HUGS)))
