    Default heads or tails?

Well we now have a head down baby!!!! After being woken up several times last night with extreme discomfort and pain we had our consult this morning, and it must have been her turning around because she's nice and head down

Gyno did a quick u/s to confirm but he felt it with his hands and could tell. I didn't get a good look at the screen but DH said she looks like me lol and he verified it's a girl, pretty clear at this point!

So now she has a week before she gets her eviction notice! lol unless the very bumpy road we have to travel tomorrow on our way home does the trick (the road has heaved because of a sudden thaw, it's like car surfing giant waves lol). Car seat is being installed tonight because we're taking everything with us just in case. If I don't prepare I'm sure that would cause me to go into labor, you know Murphy's law.

She's weighing in at 6lbs 10oz. I did some calculations and based on the u/s at 33 weeks where she was 5lb 1oz she's gaining an average of 10 to 11 oz each week, so going to 40 weeks she'd be about 9 to 9.5 lbs (yikes!)

Yea for head down baby! Try not to worry about how big she will be, as long as she is healthy, that is all that matters Did you have any issues installing the car seat? I know I couldn't relax until the car seat was installed, our bags were packed, and DD's toys and extras were at my Mom and Dad's house

It took us all of 5 mins to install it lol, wasn't a big job but we wanted it done before our trip. I haven't stressed about packing bags or anything either, just threw a few things together (again so we could bring it with us for our trip). At our hospital here we don't actually need to bring anything except personal items and extra clothes for DH. In the unlikely event that we do end up in labor and deliver this weekend we'll need someone to go buy a few things (pads, diapers etc) because the hospital there doesn't provide anything for our stay but I'm not going to bother buying stuff since we won't likely need it.

I say it's unlikely I'll deliver this weekend but if there is any truth to the old wives tale that a drive on a bumpy road will spur labor we could be in for quite a ride tonight lol it's seriously the worst road in the province!
