How far along are you? Almost 35 weeks!
How are you feeling physically? Pretty sore "down there", tired all the time, feeling myself get bigger and physically less able to do things I want to do
How are you feeling mentally? Pretty OK, feeling like perhaps this pregnancy will not end. lol The mental exhaustion of pregnancy but the mind racing of what all needs to be done, but no energy to do it.
When do you think you'll pack your bag? Probably after my next appt next week. (I will be 36 weeks)
When is your last day of work/school? I plan to work til the very end, and school will continue throughout as well.
If you have any other kids at home, how are they starting to feel about baby's arrival? The boys are excited!
How are your appts going? Good. No issues, concerns.
Any new baby buys? Just little things we need; socks, bottles, etc.
Are you starting to think of labour and delivery yet? Always think about it. Excited!
Have a new belly pic? No sorry! I don't use photobucket anymore. I hate that thing
Did you get up to anything exciting over the holidays? Nah, just kept it mellow at home. I am an RN, so we have to work holidays and I worked Christmas and New Years Eve this year.

How far along are you? 32 weeks
How are you feeling physically? very sore, lots of pressure and contrax are getting more painful
How are you feeling mentally? excited! I'm a natural 'nester' and I'm going into over drive now with things to do both for my annual new years organization and clear out and prepping for baby Biggrin
When do you think you'll pack your bag? eventually... diaper bag will be packed by Feb 1st so we can bring it home with us for our last pre-baby visit
When is your last day of work/school? I'm a SAHM, no such thing as a day off lol
If you have any other kids at home, how are they starting to feel about baby's arrival? DD can't wait, she bought baby a 'special stuffy' to give to her when she's born. DD has 'Mother Bear' that she got in the hospital when she was born and still sleeps with her 9 years later, she wants the baby to have the same thing Smile
How are your appts going? Good, uneventful
Any new baby buys? a coming home outfit and a onsie that says Little Sister!
Are you starting to think of labour and delivery yet? Yup can't wait!
Have a new belly pic? Not yet but I will soon

Here's a pic from today!

Did you get up to anything exciting over the holidays? We visited family for a week after Christmas, it was very exhausting but we got to see a lot more people
Anything else? We go for our fetal echo soon, can't wait to see our baby girl again!

How far along are you? 35 Weeks

How are you feeling physically? Not too bad. I've kinda gotten used to being perpetually uncomfortable or in pain Wink

How are you feeling mentally? Freaking out

When do you think you'll pack your bag? Probably next week after our appt (36 weeks)

When is your last day of work/school? *Hoping* to work until the 25th, then take 1 week vacation and have EI/Mat leave start on Feb. 1st. Right now my Dr thinks it's a bit doubtful I'll make it that far

If you have any other kids at home, how are they starting to feel about baby's arrival? N/A. DH and I are having a hard enough time adjusting, I can't imagine helping a younger kid get ready as well!

How are your appts going? Not bad - very uneventful. Although I got a shock at my appt last week.......my Dr said that if I haven't delivered by my due date, they'll induce me, since they won't let me go over my dates. Kinda worries me since at my 12 and 20 week U/S I was measuring 4-6 days behind, and I son't want baby to come before she's ready!

Any new baby buys? Just getting all the last minute stuff......mattress pads, sleepers, laundry hamper, etc

Are you starting to think of labour and delivery yet? A little too much!

Have a new belly pic?

Did you get up to anything exciting over the holidays? Lots of visiting family, but luckily it was all at our place (we told everyone that at nearly 8 months pregnant, we'd appreciate it if they came to see us rather than the usual us traveling everywhere.) So I managed to make 2 full Christmas diners, had my In-Laws for a weekend, and managed not to strangle my MIL, so as exhausting as it was, I'll take it as a win Smile

Anything else?
18 more days of work left!!! (can you tell I'm very excited about that?!?)

How are you feeling physically? Pretty rough. I'm hurting in so many places Sad
How are you feeling mentally? Excited about having a new baby and kind of freaking out about having a new baby and a 3 year old together ! DH is working ALOT lately and it's going to be a pretty big adjustment.
When do you think you'll pack your bag? We are going on a trip for my husband's birthday about an hour away. I'll pack my bag before that weekend so I can take it along.
When is your last day of work/school? I'm hoping to make it until the 18th but will work up until arrival if possible.
If you have any other kids at home, how are they starting to feel about baby's arrival? We have a 3 year old DD. She seems to be excited and talks about her brother a lot, but we are starting to have some behavior issues, so I think that it might be a little rougher going that we originally thought. We talk to her about him often and explain how things will be after baby is here. She has been super Mommy clingy lately so we just tried to sit down and explain to her that sometimes we will have to feed or change the baby and need her to play on her own. She didn't seem to understand so we will just keep trying.
How are your appts going? Well. They are pretty much in and out right now because nothing exciting is going on Smile
Any new baby buys? We finished up buying our diaper stash Smile
Are you starting to think of labour and delivery yet? Yes, I'm hoping to avoid pitocin so i've been thinking about it often !

Megan (and any other BTDT moms) ...how many diapers should I ask for? I'm putting some on my registry and I don't know how many boxes to ask for. Plus, I don't know how many days/weeks baby will be in that certain size, so I'm a little iffy to ask for a whole bunch..

Jessica- I would ask for not a lot of newborn sizes, you tend to go through a lot quick with newborns, but depending on how fast your baby grows or how big the baby is when he/she comes out, you may wind up in size 1 before you know it (newborn pampers only go to 10lb and some people give birth to 10lb babies!). BUT if you get too many of one size, you can always exchange, so don't open when you aren't currently using. I would say I remember staying in size 1 for a while and seems like size 2 for a longer time.... Just depends on the baby.

I agree with Nichole, we purchased one pack of NB size and several size one and two's. Since the average baby is born between 7 and 8 lbs they don't stay in them long, plus size one starts at 8lbs they can move into that size pretty early. I don't even remember DD1 being in NB diapers ever! lol

I think size 2 lasted the longest stretch if I remember correctly...

We didn't purchase any NB size and I was glad. Our daughter was 8lb 7oz and the 1's fit her very well and for awhile. I would get some 1's. I usually bought the largest box I could because it usually saves you a little money, but you might find that you like certain diaper brands over others because of fit and leaking issues, so you might just want to try a couple small packages of size 1's. We really like pampers, but I've worked in daycare for 4 1/2 years and if I've learned anything it's that store brand diapers are a great way to save money. I don't know where you are but I've used both Wal-Mart and Target brand diapers on babies and never had any issues with either unless they were too small and Mom & Dad just hadn't moved them up a size at the right time. One of my daycare mom's is using The Honest Company diapers right now. She said she orders them online and are made out of corn so they are better for the environment. I haven't looked into them and I have no idea how expensive they are, but it's another option. Good luck finding something that works for you Smile

We are doing cloth this time so I've mostly focused on that, but we did get one small package of size 1 pampers to have just in case Smile
