L&D Visit
Last night after work I headed to Walgreens to see if they had some glow sticks for Halloween. I had forgotten my wallet so DH was on his way to meet me there.
Well, I was extremely clumsy and tripped on the curb. I fell and hit my right knee, my chin, and caught myself somewhat with my palms because they are bruised. Josh got there a few minutes after I fell and because it happened so fast I couldn't remember if I had felt my belly hit or not. I wasn't really sure what to do, but Josh decided at it would be best to get checked out so we met my MIL to give her DD for the night and went to the ER.
They sent me directly to Labor & Delivery and monitored him for about an hour and a half. I stopped freaking out when he started moving again about an hour after i had fallen. He seemed to be doing well so the doctor gave them permission to discharge me. They were still waiting for one test result so ill get that today. I'm going in today at 2:45 for my regular appointment and u/s. I'm so glad we will get to see him after this !Megan

So glad you are ok! How scary. Good thing our LO's are safe and sound in all that padding in our bellies! That U/S will give you some peace of mind too. Keep us updated!

Your post reminds me of an article I read recently. Written by an OB (supposedly) who said pregnant women in all trimesters should avoid any activity that could result in a fall. Ummm.... so I can't even walk? lolDBassett and NutMeg4189 like this.
