it will be a February baby for us

My due date is March 2nd. My midwife told me today she will induce at 39 weeks if my cervix is "doing what it should be." I'm hoping that won't be an issue since I'm already feeling pressure on it, so that puts us on or shortly after February 23rd which is only 30 days from now.

I wasn't so sure about the idea at first but the more I think about it the more I want him out. I'm tired and sore and he's expected to be a pretty good size (DD was 8lb7oz at 40w) so, if they will induce me a week early I'm going to let them. I basically ended up being induced with DD anyway. My water broke and I wasn't having contractions after about 6 hours so they put me on pitocin.

That's great to have a plan! I enjoyed my induction much more than my "natural, water-breaking" birth. I like the control I had with the induction. If they offered for me, I would let them induce me at 39 weeks too!

Us too Meg! but for different reasons - It's looking more and more like it'll be a c-section for me... still crossing fingers she'll turn but losing hope...

The only bonus I can see is that they will do it early lol so I would totally agree to be induced early

It sounds like a lot of us are getting induced a week early. I can't wait to "meet" your little boy! I hope the next 30 days passes by quickly for you!
