Well she has moved from transverse to breech. I'm just gone 34 weeks and back at midwifes next Wednesday and if still breech have to go back in another week and if still breech gona get a scan to see how exactly baby lying and think ill opt for a external turning.
My midwife offered me a section but I want to avoid this as much as possible. We discscused a bit about breech births and wondered if anyone has any experience of this?
I know she may turn still but have a feelin she won't :-(

Well.......at least she turned from transverse.....Lol she turned the wrong way, but she turned!
Other than the spinning babies and attempting to turn her externally, is there anything else that can help?
I have no experience in this, but hopefully there's something that will encourage her to turn head down!

I'm so sorry ! I hope baby girl decides to behave and turn. Have you looked into anything to help her do so? I've seen a lot of momma's that have tried Spinning Babies. I've never had to but it seems like it works sometimes.

I'm in a similar situation! Baby has flipped transverse a few times in the last few weeks and is now breach (had a u/s today). I'm trying spinningbabies to see if she'll turn but I've heard an external version to flip baby can be not only painful but dangerous (placental abruption is a high risk) and isn't typically effective ('I've got a friend who is an L&D nurse).
spinningbabies seems to be generally effective (the earlier it's done the better though) from several people I've either spoken to or read on this forum so I'm keeping fingers crossed! I'd like to avoid a c-section if at all possible....
Av been trying everything possible. She very naughty lol. To top it off I have spd and due at hospital tomorrow to see about it. I will try anything to turn her as I want to avoid a section as much as possible. Obviously if I need one I need one tho.
I have even been looking into giving birth breech etc and think an wording myself too much at the moment. Guess will have to see what next Wednesday brings.

I'm sorry. I hope she turns for you soon. As far as delivering a breech baby, is this something your doc is even willing to do? A lot of times they are unwilling bc of the risks involved.

You need a chiropractor that does the webster technique. It can be wonderful for the spd as well.
Breech is just another variation of normal. If your dr is willing to consider it and has experience delivering breech, it's something to think about. It also depends on how the baby is presenting in the breech position (frank breech v. footling, etc). It's worth looking at all your options!
