November Chat Thread

How is everyone doing?

This board has really slowed down hasn't it? I know we've all been busy with life and getting ready for baby but please check in and let us know how you are doing!

I can't believe Thanksgiving and Christmas is right around the corner. It's going to be an exciting holiday season for sure. I have my glucose test and 4D scan today so I'm really looking forward to that. We are leaving for our mini babymoon in 2 weeks so that's pretty exciting. I haven't even started thinking about Christmas presents this year. I need to start getting my list together soon. I think I'm going to put it off until after Thanksgiving. lol

Our nursery is coming along slowly but surely. We finished painting and our crib, mattress and rug showed up. My stash of baby goods is growing and I just can't believe how much STUFF babies need. Wink Hubby has been very busy getting the house ready for our son. He's had contractors in and out of the house nonstop it seems. So many things to do before baby boy comes. We're getting new windows, new ac system and ducts, our chimney swept, getting our couches cleaned and calling out an exterminator. I think Hubby is going a tad overboard but hey it makes me happy that he's taking this whole baby business very seriously. I think it's very cute! Biggrin

I'm feeling pretty good for the most part just still really tired. I'm definitely having a harder time getting around and found that I grunt a lot these days. LOL

Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well!

It is pretty quiet around here, and March is even quieter.

Can't wait to see pics from your u/s (if you will be sharing!) mine is tomorrow and I can't wait! My MIL has been counting down all week and sending me FB messages lol she's over the moon Biggrin

We FINALLY finished the playroom and now the nursery is empty so we'll start that next week, ordering the furniture this weekend. My goal is to be as ready in 2 months as possible just in case I end up on bedrest again. Not fun when you have a million things left to do I have to say. Fingers are crossed it won't happen again but it was due to high bp and not only does that run in my family but my mother had the same issue at the end of both her pregnancies so I'm trying to be realistic in my planning.

I'm in a group (for back home) on FB for buying and selling children's stuff and both my MIL and I are plugging away at the list, lots of good deals and some things are still new never been used, I love a great deal! Plus babies outgrow things so fast (something to keep in mind first time Moms! lol) you don't always get much use out of things. We still need our highchair and swing but I *think* those are the only 2 big things we need once the crib and change table get here.

DH is giddy with excitement, he love to talk to my belly and she responds with kicks and punches! It's so cute and puts such a huge smile on his face, I love it!

Yah, things around here have really slowed down!

Jina, that's so exciting for your U/S! You must be bouncing on the spot waiting for it to come! Good luck with the glucose test! I think I'm going to ask my Dr if she can just send me for the test rather than testing my blood sugar 3-4 times a day!!

Crystal, It must be so nice to have the playroom finished! It sounds like I'm doing much of the same......I've been a craigslist and usedvictoria FIEND and have got almost everything! Last week alone I picked up a play mat, bassinet and the swing we wanted. DH thinks I've probably saved around $600 by shopping on there. I'm hoping to have everything done and ready for baby by the end of December, 'just in case'......

AFM......
Still not feeling the greatest. I was given a 10 day regimen of high dose anti-biotics, but I don't think they did the trick. I think 2 weeks would have been better, because I can still feel an infection in my chest and sinuses. And being sick is really screwing with my blood sugars.....up until I got sick, all my blood sugar tests were textbook perfect, but being sick sends them sky high. i'm scared to even show the log to my Dr because of how bad it looks right now!

I also have to go in for an emergency appt today. I've had that 'kicked in the crotch' feeling for a little over a week now, and it's gotten progressively worse. To the point where I can hardly walk at times. night time is the worst, and rolling over in bed is BEYOND excruciating! At some time in the wee hours of this morning when I had to make one of my frequent trips to the bathroom, I was in so much pain just trying to get up that I was in tears, and could hardly move my legs they hurt so bad.......
So I called my Dr's office to ask if I should come in, because I had a chiropractor appt booked for later this week, and they've got me coming in this morning.
.......It probably doesn't help that I'm still dancing. I just need to make it through 1 more month of dance and then if I have to I can take a break until the baby gets here, but I have a dance competition Dec 1-2nd.

On a happy note though, we finished the nursery Smile I'll try to get pics up loaded over the weekend. We didn't want to bother painting or really decorating the room much.....it's already a beige colour, and actually has a giant world map on 1 wall. So we left everything as is, and DH got all the furniture set up. I'll add some decorations and some girly touches as we go, but it's mostly done!!

Good idea Jo, babies don't really care about the nursery decor, it's really for us so if you like the room as is then, perfect! That's the last room in our house to be touched really (other than the 2 bathrooms which will be reno'd in the nearish future) and the paint in there is horrible ('Bathurst style' is very 80's/90's with lots of brass, dusty rose, baby blue and peach - eek)

Sorry you still aren't feeling well, it's so much harder to get better when preggo, everything just holds on Sad Hope the pain isn't anything serious and goes away soon! Oh and congrats on getting the room finished already!

Crystal, I hope that you won't have to go on bed rest! Fingers and toes crossed! Good luck today and I can't wait to hear all about the scan and see pics!

Awww....so cute that your DH talks to Maggie and that she responds! Hubby talks to Baby Boy sometimes but he never responds to his voice....only his touch....lol. So cute! How is Eala doing?

Jo, the glucose test wasn't bad at all. I've gotten the test done before so I knew what to expect this time around. I think it's a great idea to just get the one hour glucose test done rather than poking yourself 3 times a day. Ouch. I don't really like needles...I do not miss getting shots a few times a day during ivf that's for sure!

Yay for getting the nursery finished up! That's awesome and I can't wait to see pics. Biggrin I'm sorry you're still feeling sick. I wonder if you need another course of anti-biotic. I hope you start feeling better soon. I can't believe you're still dancing! I haven't had a lick of exercise since...well....forever! Good luck at your appointment today. I hope your OB can do something to help with the pain. Please KUP asap!

AFM, the u/s was very meh. Baby boy was not cooperating. He had his face covered by his fingers and toes. He was folded in half and was hugging his legs/feet to his face. We got a peek of half of his face. lol He is absolutely precious! So in love already. Anyway, I'm thinking about scheduling another u/s in a few weeks.

My appointment went well. Baby boy is measuring right on target. The amniotic fluid level was good. I'm measuring right at 27 weeks. Oh and Baby boy is breech so I go back in 3 weeks and then every other week after that. Eeek! Getting so close! Biggrin

Jina, sorry baby Boy didn't cooperate very well! When we went to get our U/S done, baby kept putting her hands in front of her face so it was impossible to get a good shot!

Well, I went to the Dr yesterday, and unfortunately there's nothing they can do for the pain. She said part of it is round ligament pain, and the other part is pelvic symphasis something or other. Basically from how she explained it, the false joint at the front of my pelvis is starting to get a bit loose and trying to move. Hopefully this is the sign of a fast and easy labour, but I won't get my hopes up! She did check on baby just to be sure, and the good news is my cervix is still closed, so there's no danger of baby coming early. I'm REALLY hoping my chiro appt over the weekend helps! It's not as bad today, but I think that's because I haven't been able to do anything, other than sit at my desk, or lay on the couch. I think any form of exercise is off the table (not that I've been doing much at all!!) - there's no way I could even walk around the block right now. I'm still going to try and push through for dance and just make it to the competition next month. I conveniently "forgot" to ask the Dr about it when I was there yesterday, but DH has pretty much forbidden me to register for the competition until after I've been cleared by the Dr......said he'd rather pay the extra fee for a late registration than have me lose the payments all together if I register and then have to pull out.

And on a fun note, we decided to get maternity pictures done!! We're meeting with the photographer this evening to work out some of the details Smile He does a maternity/newborn package, so hopefully we can get the preggo pics done sometime in December, if we can find a day when it's not raining (although we've been really lucky so far not to have the usual oct/nov storms we always get!!)
So I'm both really excited and really nervous abut getting them done.......I haven't exactly been feeling very glamorous this whole pregnancy and don't really like getting my picture taken, so hopefully he can get a few that I like!!

Anyone else have anything planned for the weekend?

Jo, I'm sorry they can't do much for the pain. That sucks! I think it's impressive that you're still dancing. Please try to take it a bit easier. I don't want you to really hurt yourself! Ahhhh! How fun about the maternity pics! I can't wait to see them if you decide to share. I thought about getting them done but I *hate* having pictures taken of me so it would just be a waste of money I think. I'd probably be snarling in all of them...lol. Wink

Wow Jo I can't imagine any exercise at this point let alone dance! What type of dance do you do? Can I ask why the competition is so important? I hope you take it easy and feel better soon Smile

LOL I'm an Irish dancer......so there's lots of jumping around! I only dance once a week, but I have a sad feeling this week will be my last day. Each day I'm feeling a bit better, and I have a feeling it's because I've been taking it really easy, other than walking with DH yesterday, and even that, I think we got passed by an old man in a walker!!
I have a deal with DH that I'll go to dance this week and will try to just walk through my steps with as little jumping as possible, because I see my Dr for my usual check up the next morning. If I'm back in pain after it, then it looks like it is the pelvis trying to separate Sad
.....So, it looks like I will miss the competition, which sucks. It's just a lot of fun to do, we go over to Vancouver with a bunch of the ladies I dance with, and there's only 1 other competition in our area that I do, and it's usually early May, so who knows, I might be ready to dance in that one!

So, the meeting with the photographer went great....we really like him, and because he's not a 'professional' photographer yet, he's far more affordable than others we looked at. So, we're hoping to get those done in mid December, if the weather cooperates with us Smile

LOL Jina I'd love to see pics of you snarling at a photographer! HAHA those would hands down be the best maternity pics ever!

Oh - and as promised......a pic of the nursery! Like I mentioned, it's a pretty neutral colour already, so we just left it as-is, and really all we (and by we, I mean DH) did was assemble the furniture Smile

I have to learn to take it easy too, today I stopped chores and put my feet up because I had one heck of a braxton hicks contraction! I've been getting them off and on for a few weeks not painful and I hardly notice them unless I'm feeling my belly but today I felt it, and it nearly doubled me over it was so strong!!!

DH gets at me a lot because it's not in my nature to ask for help (nearly 10 years with my man-child ex who refused to help with anything ingrained it deeper as well). He tries to help me all the time but I will go a head and just do things on my own. I'm learning and *trying* to let go of some control but it's hard...

Jo - I hope that the pain continues to get better. We are looking into getting maternity photos done again, but haven't made a final decision. I loved them the first time around ! We will be getting family photos taken when he is 6 months old because that is when we did them with Ashlynn. I love your nursery so far !

Crystal - I was doing way too much with our move and having BH so I've tried to slow down a bit. Hopefully you are more successful at letting DH help you more. It sound like we all are doing more than we should be ! I find that going up and down stairs a lot leads the BH's so I've taken to using the elevator at school when going from the basement to the 3rd floor and then back down. I feel silly, but I don't have as many issues so it's worth it. I can't wait to see some nursery photos if you share them ! It must be exciting to be able to work on it after all the other projects you had to get done first.

Jina - I would also love to see you snarling in maternity photos. LOL! I was dying Smile

AFM - I am almost done with school !!! 4 more regular days and then finals. I made the final decision not to take classes next semester and it has been the best feeling in the world to know that I won't have to worry about school right after he is born.

We are about 90% moved Wink and 80% unpacked. I wanted to share some In-Progress photos of our baby areas.

This is our room. He will be in here for an undetermined amount of time Smile

Photobucket

And this is the kiddos room. We still have a lot of work to do to make the walls not so white and bare and I'm going to invest in something cute to cover the blinds. We will be getting a new crib eventually because this is a drop side and I'm not sure I trust the "kits" to make them not drop, but we put this one in for spacing and to look cute for now Wink And yes, that is a christmas tree in their room. I didn't get to decorate for Halloween because of the move and I don't have much for Thanksgiving so we are already getting out the Christmas stuff Smile My poor husband is very good at dealing with my crazy, especially when I'm pregnant. He just lets me do what I'm going to do.

Meg I love it! You know I was disappointed when I found out about the recall with the cribs, I found it so much easier to get my DD in and out of, if you've never had an issue before I'd guess you probably wouldn't now though.

I can't wait for our furniture to arrive now Biggrin seeing all these nurseries coming together is putting me in the mood to decorate!
I've moved up my time line from the end of January to Christmas. Even without bed rest it's getting harder and harder to get around already. I need to update my belly pics soon, caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror from the side and now I get why everyone is asking if I'm sure it's not twins...

Jo, sorry you have to miss the competition but it's better to be safe than sorry, right? Glad the meeting with the photographer went well. Your nursery is so adorable! I love the soft nuetral colors. We should start a new thread for nurseries so we can share our progress and what not! Biggrin

Crystal, yikes about the BH. I had them a lot too but they've slowed down a lot. Try to take it easy and drink lots of extra water! Biggrin

Megan, Yay! Glad school is almost done! Biggrin Love the kids room and the Christmas tree! I love the Owls...so cute!

Megan, I love the new place! And I love that there's a Christmas trees in the bedroom Smile Since we moved in the summer I haven't found any of my X-mas decorations yet.....I need to get on that while I still feel like I have the energy to decorate!
You must be so excited to be almost done with school!

Crystal, I agree with Jina....YIKES about the BH contractions! Make sure you take it easy (.........as much as you can!). As far as I know I haven't felt any yet, but it could just be that I'm not paying attention!

Has anyone seen the new James Bond movie? DH and I went out last night with some friends to see it.....wow it was really good! And it was a nice change from spending the evening laying on the couch Smile

Jina, glad they've slowed for you Smile they are normal at this stage as long as they are not painful. I don't remember having them with Eala but I think I read somewhere they are often more noticeable and stronger with #2. Oh and I agree let's start a nursery thread! Can't wait to see some pics of yours.

Jo, I have been wanting to see that but it's hard since we don't have a sitter up here. Should have gone on the weekend when we were home with our families :/ oh well.

As if I wasn't gung ho enough to get the nursery finished, our furniture arrived nearly a week early! I'll be painting tomorrow so I can get it all done and put the furniture together soon! This weekend is being set aside to do the christmas lights and finish putting outdoor furniture away though Smile

Crystal, have fun decorating and setting up X-mas lights!! And then comes the nursery fun Smile

Well, I just had my monthly check up with my Doc........here's how it went:

Smile we're onto appointments every 2 weeks

Smile my weight has stayed the same again, so up 14 pounds so far, and most of that was in the first 18 weeks

 She didn't *exactly* tell me to stop dancing, but did say the competition is out, I can keep going as long as I modify things so I'm not jumping, and then it's up to me how long I want to go for, depending on if the pain increases or not

Sad She's sending me back to the GD clinic. I was trying with all my heart to avoid having to go back there. I've had issues with eating disorders in the past, and the nutritionist there is the biggest trigger I've had to deal with in a very long time. DH hates her because of how she was making me feel at each appointment. Someone my DH was working with was seeing this woman, and would come out in tears at the end of every appt.
But, my dr said I have to keep testing my blood sugar, since my fasting number first thing in the morning is still a bit too high. So, hopefully a combination of being finished with the anti-biotics, making sure I eat something right before bed, and walking after dinner if I can manage it, should bring the numbers down, but in the meantime, I have to go back to the GD clinic from hell.

Sorry about the nutritionist Jo Sad I honestly don't know why some people get into that type of work when they are such nasty b!tches. Sounds like you are doing great though good for you! I know you are disappointed about the competition but just think about baby and it makes all the sacrifices worth it Smile

I got all the painting done in the nursery yesterday, except inside the closet which I will do early next week before we put in the new closet organizer. Here is a sneak peek:

I'm loving it!

Today is cleaning, cleaning and laundry, and maybe some organizing too if I can muster some energy. Looking forward to Christmas decorating this weekend and my Grandmother is coming to visit for a few days, we're going to a hockey game Sunday because my cousin's team is playing up here. She goes to most of his home games (he plays for a city an hour away from where we came from) and now that we live in a city with a team she comes to visit us whenever he plays up here too. She loves her hockey (a love she and my MIL share) lol and her dreams came true when her grandson made the jr pro team, next step NHL...

I love the paint Crystal ! Can't wait to see more Smile I'm so excited about getting ready for the babies !

I found some art that I love on etsy (Pooh Eeyore and Tigger Inspired Silhouette 3 by WITHHEARTSTUDIOS) but I'm holding off on buying until after next Sturday. I'm going shopping with my mom and sister and they are excited about looking for nursery decorations so maybe we will find something while out and about here Smile

I am so excited about this next week! It's thanksgiving here so I'm off school for a week and we get to spend time with our families which we never do enough of. I Love that we live so close to everyone but I feel like sometimes we don't see then because they are so close Smile we never really "plan" anything because its so "easy" to get together. Smile I'm also getting together with my three best girlfriends Smile one of them lives in the area and has an almost 3 month old. We are all looking forward to seeing how Ash does with the baby. She was sick for a longggg time and then we moved so I've been visiting them without her so far. Our other friends live in Hawaii and Missouri soon to be Florida so we have no idea when we will all be together again. And then I get to go shopping Smile

I'm feeling better right now as long as I avoid stairs or walking to much. Haha. Both seem to initiate BH so I just try to be lazy right now !

Jo, glad you got to get out of the house and watch a movie. We don't normally go to the movies because Hubby and I both have to have complete silence when we watch movies. The noise the audience makes drives us absolutely mad! lol

Yay for a good appointment but ugh! the nutritionist sounds like a total nightmare. Can you go see someone else?

Crystal, very pretty! Hehe...I have a grey nursery too. Biggrin I hope you have a great weekend with your Grandmother!

Megan, Awww....love the art from Etsy. I hope you have a wonderful break and Thanksgiving! Biggrin

AFM, not much going on here. Just slowly working away on the nursery and shopping up a storm for baby boy. I have to start getting packed for our babymoon soon and I'm so not looking forward to it because I'm a total over packer and I just don't have the energy to obsess over it. haha!

Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Crystal, I love the paint!!

How was everyone's weekend? we were supposed to have our prenatal class over the weekend, but it got cancelled because the instructor got sick Sad We were really looking forward to it too......hopefully they have a few other classes offered, because DH works 3 evenings a week, and their evening classes all seem to be offered on nights he works, and all their other weekend classes seem to be weeks we're busy already!

So, I think I'm into the single digits for weeks of work left!! I *think* I'm going to try to work until Jan. 25th - that gives me 11 days before my due date. So I'm only looking at 9 weeks of work left....THANK GOD!!! Lol I came home last night and told DH I am just DONE with work and putting up with crap from certain people I work with. And there's only so many times I can hold my tongue!

How's everyone else doing?

that's awesome Jo, love the countdown Smile

I'm doing ok, we have the nursery furniture put together now. we need some finishing touches (baskets and decorative items, etc) and a few things to make like a crib skirt and curtains. Then I need to get the clothes organized and washed. We have friends who have offered us a ton of stuff which will hopefully some up with my IL's in a few weeks.

My GD test came back great and my bp is still in the normal range but it's creeping up slowly so I'm planning to have as much prepared by Christmas as possible so I can spend the new year relaxing Smile

feeling like time is standing stilll...... anyone else?

Oh and in other news... I'm leaking colostrum so breast-pads it is, at least I got my new nursing bras earlier this week Smile was so excited to finally have some that fit!!

Crystal, YAY for new bras that fit!!! I'm so nervous about that.....we only have a few maternity stores around here, and they're pretty limited when it comes to bra sizes......I really don't want to have to travel to the next city just to buy bras!!!

I am SO happy this week is over! it's been a week from hell at work, but I closed off a HUGE project that should now be OK to be left for the next year until I come back, so that's a huge weight off my shoulders!
........On the other hand, now that it's the weekend, I am lucky enough to see my inlaws tonight. This should be good, considering the last we heard from my MIL, she was pretty much un-inviting DH and I from my FIL's surprise birthday. All because we told her we're not going to spend X-mas day with them, and we're spending X-mas together at our new house, and we were hoping they would come to our place for X-mas dinner.
........Yah, my MIL can be a real special person. So, seeing her tonight should be so much fun!!

But, other than that we had a baby class last night!! Since DH and I both have ZERO experience with a baby, we tool a 'parenting & baby basics' class, it was 3 hours at our hospital, and was SO great! And our prenatal classes start next week Smile

Ugh, OK, now that I'm done my project at work, I can think of nothing but leaving for the day, and it's only 9:30am here! Just have to make it through 6 more hours until I can escape!

Jo I ordered mine from www.motherhoodcanada.ca I find they have more sizes available online than in the stores (in many styles at least) (honestly I probably could have bumped up another cup-size but F scared me lol) and right now they are buy 3 get the 4th free!

Sorry about your MIL Sad she sounds like a treat Crazy

Time has been flying by for me! I think its because I work full time, am going to graduate school full time, and have the kids to tend to full time! I can't believe 30 weeks is almost here. The real countdown will begin soon!

I had the hardest time picking out nursing bras! Finally found one I liked so I will probably buy those online now I know size. I am normally a 36C (barely) and I had to buy DD already, and my milk hasn't even come in yet! No leaking....yet.

I feel so behind bc I still need to wash clothes, pack my bags, buy carseat, buy pack n play, etc, etc. etc. Still so much to do and really not a ton of time!!! EEK

I need to make a list of things we have left to do and things we still need. We have 2 baby showers happening in February and I expect we'll get a bunch of stuff from them but not everything I'm sure.

I'm counting down to Feb 1st now, as long as my bp is good that's when I'll start my labor prep stuff and 'lets get this thing started' exercises lol. Am really really hoping for an early delivery around 38 weeks without induction this time! I'm terrified she'll be huge. DD1 was born at 37.5 weeks and was over 8lbs and 22 inches long, and she had measured a bit small at the u/s. This baby is measuring big (nearly a week big!) at the u/s and has a much bigger guy for a father! Plus my uterus is measuring big too, (28 cm at 25w) when last time I was right on week by week.

Wow Crystal. Those are big babies! Mine are typically on the small side... 6lb 13oz with my first at 37 1/2 weeks and 7lb 7oz at 40w2d. I went early with my first and had to be induced with my second, so I have NO idea what to expect! Hoping for 37-38 weeks but going to prepare myself for 40+. I disappointed myself last time thinking I would go early with my second too. My due date is extremely accurate tho bc we know exactly when we conceived, so who knows!

I'd love a little baby lol DH was over 9lbs at birth so I'm expecting something around that. My friend had her son a few weeks ago and he was over 10lbs! eek!!

my bp is still normal but has been creeping up steadily the entire pregnancy so I'm keeping fingers crossed it stays down in the safe zone. Because it got so high last time though I think they'd induce as early as safely possible if it spikes up this time, instead of waiting to see if it goes down. I found the induction really fast and painful so I hope to avoid that process if at all possible

A friend of mine had signs of preeclampsia and had to end up being induced at 38 weeks. I am sure they will not mess around with you this time since they know you are prone to high blood pressure. Especially if your urine starts looking pre-eclamptic. I was induced with my second bc of being past due and I actually preferred it to my natural, water-breaking, laboring birth... just my preference though. It was much more controlled and predictable and I was in much less pain bc I was able to get my epidural sooner since it was my second and I progressed quicker.

Mine was fast - 5 hrs from the time labor started to delivery and extremely painful. There was no transition or stages of labor. I'd love to be able to labor on my own for a while and be able to move around etc. Because of my bp and being induced i was strapped to a monitor for those 5 hrs. I still would like an epidural again but maybe this time I could get it BEFORE it's time to push lol.

OH no! Yea, before the pushing stage is nice. lol I had mine at good times, but with my first, my water broke and I had to labor pretty hard for 6 hours before I was dilated enough to get an epidural. That was awful! With my second, I was already 1-2 when I went in and spent the night with cervadil and by the time he broke my water the next morning I was far enough to get an epidural without feeling too much of any real labor pains.

I def hear ya about the monitors tho. I hate not being able to move around!

Crystal, I'm loving the nursery! it's looking SO good!!

Nicole, it's so good to hear from you! I can't believe how busy you are! When do you graduate? You must be looking forward to it.....it means 1 less thing to worry about!

We went and got our car seat over the weekend! We don't really have anything like the black friday sales over here, but a few stores are starting to offer some smaller sales, so we got our carseat (the Graco Snugride 35), and the mattress for the crib!

Also.......what do BH contractions feel like? Everything I read on them says your belly will go rock hard, but maybe I just have too much padding around the middle to feel that? I've felt some tightening either in my back or right at the front of my lower abdomen, and I'm starting to not be sure if it's baby or if it's BH!

they can feel like tightening, and you may not notice them at all,(or you may not notice most of them) Main thing is that they shouldn't be painful. If you start feeling painful tightening talk to your doc. If you have 4 painful contractions in an hour go to the hospital - that could signal preterm labor!

Yay for the car seat! We bought an entire travel system (stroller, car seat, base) a while back because the one I picked out was on 40% off - can't beat that!

And thanks Jo! I'm working on some artwork for the nursery as well as a mobile to go over the crib Smile

I have two years left! I am going for my Nurse Practitioner. I am a Registered Nurse now. Long road! lol

BH can be different for everyone. With this being my 3rd baby, mine are actually kinda painful and my OB said it was normal. As long as they do not increase in intensity or happen too frequently it should be fine. If you experience a lot of pain with baby #1 I would def have it checked out! Better to be safe than sorry.

I am actually starting to feel pressure in my pelvic area! I think her head is down based on how she kicks.... having my 30 week appt tomorrow. The count down is really starting to begin and we are really gearing up for birth!!!

Woo Hoo! 30 weeks today! The countdown begins. Had my appt today, up 23lbs so far total. Start every 2 week visits now. Baby sounded good and my complaints of pressure and aches in my pelvic region is "normal" for baby #3. So it's all good, will probably just be miserable from here on out. LOL

We have a birthday every weekend in December pretty much too.

My MIL's b'day and DD's kid party are on the 8th, then it's my BIL's bday the next saturday and DH's cousin the weekend after that(he's more like a nephew because of the age difference - he's 17) , and my Aunt's in between. Add in Christmas, DD's actual b'day on NYE, my Folks anniversary, the school Christmas Bazar which I volunteer at, school concert and travel home and this month should fly by for us too! Plus I still need to finish shopping and baking!!

Today though we decorate!
