Well ... My sickness started at week 7ish and I mean sick not just nausea. I mean bile after bile even with takin anti sickness tablets. I just can't function properly, can't do anything without thinking we're the toilets would be. I haven't lost any weight but havnt gained any either (which is good). I can't face food, thinking about food makes me sick. If I don't eat it makes me sick. It's like a vicious circle that doesn't seem to have any end in sight.
Thanks for listening to me winge as my partner doesn't really understand.

Ugh, sorry you are so sick! Even though the reward is there at the end, it is just awful to get through that part. I thought it would never end, either. And I never threw up, just constant nausea.
I'm sure you've tried about everything, but make sure you are keeping something in your stomach, like nibbling on crackers and sipping water. I got to the point I could only drink water or plain tea. Anything with sugar just made it worse. Sucking on tictacs or lemon drops helped too.
I know not everyone is the same, but my nausea lessened a bit around 12-13 weeks and was much improved during week 14. I hope you fall into the group of people that the nausea really subsides after 1st trimester, you are almost there! Have you had other pregnancies? The nausea resolved around the same time for me with each pregnancy.
Hope you start to feel better soon.

I counted how many times I threw up in one day... it was 12! 12 times!! I just wasn't able to function. I was already taking a medictation for it, which obviously wasn't working, so I called my OB office and they gave me a different medication and told me to take both. It really really helped me. Not sure what meds they have in england, but I was taking diclecten and maxeran. The combo of them both worked. Maybe you could ask your doctor to try something different? Hang in there!
Ugh so sorry to hear you're still so sick!!! Come on here and vent any time
One thing I've been doing is making slushies at home......I've been mixing up lemon juice, some honey, and a tiny bit of vanilla and pouring that over crushed ice. It doesn't help with food staying down, but it at least got fluids into me when I just didn't want anything else.....And I actually found the sourness of the lemons helped with the nausea (but made the heartburn worse!).
Hang in there - can you call your OB or midwife and ask for a different prescription?
Oh no, I'm sorry you're feeling so sick. You've gotten some great advice from PPs. I hope you start feeling better soon. Second trimester isn't too far off!

Idk about in England but here, diclectin is not available. To get the drug, you literally have to take unisom and a b-6 supplement. It's not delayed release like diclectin but it does help.
I haven't thrown up but my nausea and food aversions were so bad that I lost 7.5lbs. I'm still not eating great but at least I'm getting some food in. Today, I managed some toast (sadly that's it). I hope you feel better soon!!
Going to make an apt with the doctor and see what they can do. I have been in to orange. Orange juice, frozen orange juice, oranges lol. I have been eating ice pops. Food wise is hard av been eating dry cereal and dry toast. When an feelin good I can eat a crisp sandwich. Had a chicken curry the other day and can only eat small portions, but managed to keep it down. When I think I'm going to be sick I try and have a sleep lol.
Work is hard I keep dissapering to the loo lol.
Anyway thanx for listening
